Mira Vista Resort, Tucson, AZ, USA

Recommended Posts

Recently, I met R at the Mira Vista Resort Complex. R was working a short work assignment and I met him for a long weekend over Labor Day. MVR is a very nice gated resort and condo complex. It has a few camper pad sites too. The restaurant on site is nice and affordable when open on weekends and holiday. We shopped and had snacks, wine and breakfast items in our room, and got dressed to out to dinner two of the four evenings we were at MRV.

The Condos are really new and nice. Some owners live there year round. Other owners, rent their condos out when they are not in residence. We rented a room that is part of the older part of the facility, which we understand was part of an old movie studio business.

The resort has two pool and a long 40' or 50' long conversation pool. Water quality and temperatures were always very good. There is a large shade trellis with fabric ceiling and misters. We liked the lounge chairs and beds and never had trouble finding a good spot.

MVR is family friendly and we saw 3 or 4 under 10 or 12 year old children there around noon a couple different days. Children at a clothes optional resort is not our cub of tea, but we had no problem with it early in the day. We understand that MVR does have day passes and season memberships available for area residents.

The was little to no PDA around the pools and public areas during the day. In the weekend and holiday evenings the MVR lounge/club opened with beer and wine available. A small combo played one evening and the sound system was ok. During the evenings, weekend and holiday nights the resort was much busier with meeting people very easy.

Two different evenings we easily hooked up at the club. Full swap was available and offered, but we only went with soft swap and watching each other back at our room one evening and at the other couples condo the other evening.

MVR is not an open swinging type club but on weekends you can definitely hook up for private fun back at your accommodations.

Hope to hear from others regarding MVR and other Resorts.
