The wife and I have another cruise scheduled in Jan 2016. Most kids are still in school, we are tired of winter and ready for some sun. We will be cruising out of Port Canaveral. Does anyone else cruise or even tried it?

Mrs. CoupleInMD and I are booked on the Bliss Cruise in November/December 2015. It's a clothing-optional, lifestyle-friendly cruise sailing the Caribbean from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

This will be our first lifestyle cruise, and our second cruise of any kind (we did a Disney Cruise about 18 years ago). But it's not our first clothing-optional lifestyle-friendly vacation. We have been to Desire Riviera Maya twice. We're hoping this cruise provides a more active lifestyle environment than Desire, which we found to be a little sleepy (lifestyle-wise) sometimes. With 2000 lifestylers all on the same boat, it promises to be a sexy good time!

Anybody else going on this cruise? If so, drop us a line! And we'll see you in international waters! BTW, we'll be in Cabin 1003!

We cruise regularly, roughly yearly. Our next is 3 weeks from now, out of New Orleans, down to Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel, aboard Carnival Dream. We love the absolute detachment from the rest of the world for a week or so.

We have done 2 actual swinger cruises, both on Royal Caribbean, in 2010 (Radiance of the Seas) and 2012 (Freedom of the Seas), and while we really like them, they're so much more expensive than we can manage when we make our own booking. So last cruise we took, November last year, we got 3 other kinky/swinger couples to join us, one of which is a couple we met on our first swinger cruise in 2010.

We've got a fuzzy idea about being much more open and blunt about our interests and habits, and on the lookout during this upcoming cruise. The cruise is vanilla -- MrsVK earned a seat in Carnival's $100k Blackjack tournament -- but we certainly wouldn't mind finding some new friends to spend close time with, as long as we're spending languorous days lounging in the Caribbean sun.

We like the boat!!! We went on a cruise in 2011. It was for Jonell's friend Phoebe, she was getting married and it was THE best time we ever had (to that point) we decided we want to do it again, but due to finances etc it is a tough deal to close. We treat it like the World Cup, or the Olympics. It's been 4 years since the last cruise and we go back on the boat this summer. YEAH BABY!!! We have been planning this for a while and we can hardly wait. This go round there is a whole another level of wrinkle that didn't exist 4 years ago... LS possibilities.

Now I'm a realist and accept the fact there is a high enough possibility that this cruise may be as vanilla as ice cream, but dare to dream...we are doing a Royal Caribbean cruise in August. I believe it's Aug. 21-28. We will be sailing out of Baltimore. It is my stepdaughter's 21st b-day celebration. We have 4 vanilla friends going with us,we leave out of Baltimore, down to Florida, then Nassau Bahamas and Coco Key. We then head back to Baltimore. Even if it's vanilla, it don't matter we will all have the time of our life. So much to see and do, swimming, sports, of course drinking fancy drinks made out of alcohol and slush, and when we get to an island, the local food. For dessert we have a puff puff on the beach. Having a LS experience would be gravy at this point. I can't wait for the boat... 140 odd days and counting...

Ms. Cruise and I took our first cruise several years ago. Our kids bought it for us. We had a terrible time the first 2 days. Little did we know that one has to "learn" how to cruise. But once we figured it out, we had a blast. As soon as we got off we told each other we could do that AGAIN! Since that time, we have been on 2 others and have our next one planned for Jan 16 our of Port Canaveral to the western Caribbean. We haven't been there yet and are really looking forward to it even though it's a vanilla cruise. Maybe we will meet another couple our age who enjoys the lifestyle we enjoy, if not that is cool as well. We had not really wanted to do a swingers cruise as that isn't our main goal of cruising.

JandJ - we have been thinking about taking a cruise out of Baltimore since that is less than a 2 hour drive for us.

Thanks everyone for their thoughts on it. Who knows, we may end up on the same boat one of these days. One can never tell. ;-)

We were the vanilla couple on a vanilla cruise and not looking for anything other than going to our first nude beach knowing that no one there would know us. Two couples went with us to the beach but only one went to the nude area with us. The beach was not sexual except for the good natured joking between us. Of course we dressed and went back to the ship for our next island. That night after a few too many drinks the conversation turned to things you would do because you know nobody would find out. Well getting nude on a beach is one. We were married 10 years so the next topic about switching spouses for the night was a crazy joke. Or was it?

We just booked our first LS Cruise, the MSC Divina April 2016. It's a long time to get there, but we're already feeling the excitement. We hope to meet some great couples. We have many questions about almost every aspect of the cruise, but we have plenty of time ahead.

We hope to see you there!
