  1. My apologies. I confused the username of the OP and thought the bullet comment was directed towards them. No one wants it! And no one is saying go out and get it. But there is also no need for her to be terrified over the matter. I guarantee that most people with herpes would rather have a simple outbreak, than a common cold. Most people have no concept of having herpes. So they naturally view it as a horrific affliction. It is not. The stigma surrounding it is far worse than the virus itself. My intent was to inform her and everyone else here. MANY members claiming DD free have contacted us wanting to swing. Only to find out that one, or both, of them has it. Swinger Beware! And yes, an outbreak for most isn't that bad. No more than someone could claim that a pimple is severe. I think the scare of the 80's and some pics on Google of immunodeficient people with herpes make it far worse than it is. Again, my apologies for my post.
  2. Rest assured, your first outbreak will be the worst. Take it from a couple who has had have for 15 years. Not sure why people are saying that you dodged a bullet! Symptomatically, Genital HSV1 is no different than HSV2. After the initial outbreak, further outbreaks will lessen in occurrence and severity. 20% of the white female population has it, 40% of the female black population. Most of them are asymptomatic, they have no idea they have it. Most pass it off as BV or a UTI. And its on the rise, some say doubling every decade. Also, any standard STD battery your doctor will request is VERY unlikely to include HSV in the list. Unless you have an immunodeficiency disorder, eventually, an outbreak will be far less issue than the common cold as far as how it affects you. It's so common and causes so few issues, research into has all but ceased since the initial overrated scare 30 years ago. Certain strains of HPV are likely to cause you more serious issues than HSV. That's why an HPV vaccination was researched and released. So, relax.
  3. She is, by far, more picky. Good personality, good teeth and good hygiene are good for me.
  4. I Win! I Win! Throughout my school years I (male half) was a severe stutterer. Not so much anymore. But it does rear it's head from time to time. Hence the funny story that follows. We had a couple of MFMs with a guy who my wife had known for quite sometime. During one of our escapades, I was trying to tell him something during the course of changing positions when my brain decided not to cooperate. You ready? The friend thought I was puckering up to kiss him. At which time he stated, "No dude, I'm not into that!". I got such a case of the giggles that the evening was quickly brought to an end. It was embarassing, but the funniest damn thing I'd ever seen at the same time. I reassured him that he (or any guy) was not, is not and will never be at the other end of a kiss from me! Now, What's my prize?
  5. Personally, I think the profile name "Ave Satanas" alone shows a certain level of immaturity and an overall willingness to "Start Some Sh*t". And that's coming from an atheist. You'll note that our username makes no reference to that point. Maturity would dictate that you don't throw religion out there unless you want it thrown back. I agree with the others. You are simply too young of mind. Of course you think you aren't, we all thought that before life smacked us in the face. And oddly enough, that happens around 25-26 years of age. You punched a guy because you and your SO hadn't the life experience to notice when to stop. One day, he'll return the favor in one fashion or another. I'm sure he was grateful for your understanding and thoughtfulness as a friend. If ever in doubt in any situation, just remember this....WWJD? That was a joke by the way, you can laugh now. Vade Satanas
  6. I couldn't help but repond to this thread! I went into the hospital for a heart operation in 2003. They required all kinds of tests including a round of STD/STI tests. I assume because they were going into through the groin area and didn't want any passengers on their way up! I was told that all tests were negative I was clean. Hmmm. Seeing as how our profile name AND profile state firmly that we have Herpes-2. I think you can see why STD tests seem flawed to me. Especially since I've gad Herpes-2 since 1996.
