  1. Well it seems the age range for the couple is about 10 either way... Any younger than the 10 yr difference for younger is the we do not have much in common with them. About a 12 yr difference is as far as we have done ,but other 1/2 was older then the other by 8 yrs. As far as older than us? Well, we do go 15 yrs older than us.We tend to have always had friends older than us. Our everyday life is made up of friends who are generally older than us. You do have to click with the other couple no matter what the age difference is. The "KEY" is personality!!!!!
  2. A few small marks can be a nice reminder how the night went. Any type that needs ointment later, well that is a bit excessive. We will allow them and will place them where the kids or anyone else will not ask questions later. We always have same room and keep an eye or join in when we swap,so the marks can be a reminder as to what is a great feeling. Can be a learning experience... 😈
  3. Just wish we were able to choose more than 1 one the poll.. We have gone same age to 20 yrs older. It all depends on the chemistry on the other couple and ourselves. As far as it would have been great to see the younger on here as well. Generally we do not go much more than 10 yrs or so younger. Mainly due to the fact of interests.Guess we must be fuddie duddies. We usually try to stay within 10 yrs or so of our age.
  4. This subject falls under the same rules of ours for kids in the house=no fun. We have had some friends over for the night but usually their kids have come with them as well. We have the rule of if there is the patter of feet home we do not go off to another part of the house and we are just getting together as friends. When we have known someone for some time we will have than stay if invited to a cookout or other gathering, if they have a long drive or just too tired. We feel as though it is just too chancy to being discovered by a child who might just wake up. The only way we might consider it , would be to lock them in their rooms. But that would be abuse...
  5. Families can be so much fun... "My problem is my brother and his wife. He said that they do not want us to go to that club because it is the one that they always go to and to go to another one. I said I would defer to them since they had been in the lifestyle and we would not go to the club when they were there and would try another one. We did go to another club and my wife didn't like it at all. So we stopped for awhile." I can understand where both are coming from. I would not want to run across my sis in law in a club either. But if they have been in the life for some years, they should know what the better club for someone who is new and maybe they should try and help you out. "Now she wants to try it again, but wants to go back to the 1st club. The one we're not "allowed" to go to." This here sounds like they are very controlling people and personally i would not want to go to a club that it may be very cliquish. This is America and we do have the freedom to choose where we want to go. I would not let them stop you from going. But I would make sure they were not going the same night you want to go and do not tell them you are going. As far as her sending a letter to your employer? That is low... Who does she think she is? What makes her any more special than you?You can always come back to her with a add in the newspaper.. 2 can play vengeance. But that is not a way to treat another family member. She ought to know that. If it were me I would go on a night they are not and not let the hosts know you are related... then if you find it too cliquish, do not go back. Good Luck.
  6. This post brings back one embarrassing moment... About the time our older daughter was about 6-7 yrs old we got busted. Mind you she would make a great ballerina, very soft step when she walks. Well door was closed but oops, not pushed closed all the way.(old house) Well mr was going to town having dessert in the dark (Thank GOD) when all of a sudden you hear this little tiny voice say "mommy???" Well Mrs. says very nicely and calmly to head back to bed, she'd be in a sec. Mrs throws on some clothes quickly and heads in her room, then gets her all snuggled back in bed. Well you can be sure the door was made sure it was very tightly shut after that!!!! Even funnier was the next morning she asked her momma why the kitty was laying between her legs when she came in. She did not even realize that it was daddy. Good thing it was dark... lol. We still chuckle over this and it has been almost 10 years ago.
  7. Usually we do not do anything during that time either. But the shower does help keep things a bit cleaner. It is more of a clean issue , I think with most people.I have been told that if you use a diaphram duing a play time, will keep all at bay. I do not have the nerve yet to go in to dr and say hey i need one so we can have fun during the 1 week a month. Just much easier to postpone a week. From the other posts, sounds more like the clean issue and the instilled value that it is nasty. Also it does help the cramps.... and that is when the shower comes in handy.
