Long time lurker, first time poster here...
Our story starts out a lot like many others here. The wife and I have talked and fantasized about dipping our toes in the scene since I approached the subject about 2 years ago. When I initially brought up swinging, I was met with the typical eye rolling from the wife, along with "yeah, I'm sure YOU'D love THAT" playful denial. However the more we talked and researched together, the more we both realized that if others can do it, why can't we? Recently, we've been talking about it more frequently, and the wifey started asking more questions and expressed more of an interest, but only 'to make me happy'. I told her there was no way I was pressuring her into this, it had to be HER decision to move forward, because after all the reading I've done if I learned nothing else, it's that the women control the pace, and I did NOT want to screw this up before we even started!
Anyway, jump forward to last week... after a very busy holiday season, we'd been trying to plan some together time. Vegas is only a 2.5 hr drive away, so it is usually our go-to place for impromptu weekend getaways. So, last week we started looking into the clubs around Vegas and decided that we'd give the Red Rooster a try. We headed over to Vegas on Thursday night, and spent Friday at the outlets and shopping looking for something sexy to wear that evening. There was a bit of exciting tension between us most of the day...and as the evening grew later, I could tell she was starting to get very nervous and anxious. Around 11pm we were both dressed and looking good, if I do say so, and left the hotel for the 20 minute drive to the Rooster. We pulled up and parked in front of the place and almost chickened out...it was the wife that said, "I just psyched myself up on the trip over - I'm not backing out now!"
So we walked in, paid our $30 and checked our beer into the bar. We got a quick rundown of the joint from a regular and strolled around part of the downstairs area. We parked on a couch and just kind of people watched while sipping a beer. After about 30 minutes or so there was another couple from out of town getting the rundown from one of the volunteers/staff. We introduced ourselves and asked if we could be included on the 'tour'. Knowing that the other couple was new to this also really helped us relax and we got a great tour from one of the Staff members - he showed us all of the areas downstairs and let us know about the upstairs 'couples only' space.
We had decided before coming that whatever happens, happens, but we had no aspirations of playing with anyone. This was purely a fact-finding mission - we would just go and check things out, and maybe have a little fun with each other. So after the tour, we grabbed another beer and were sitting for just a moment when a single male (who we assumed and later confirmed was a regular) came and sat to chat us up. He was friendly, and it was obvious to him we were newbies, but he was very nice and polite - flirted a little but no pressure. We told him early in the conversation that it was our first time and we were just checking out the scene with no intentions of playing. He was very nice and continued our conversation for another 10 minutes or so before excusing himself.
After that, we headed upstairs to the couples only area. We found ourselves a spot on a sofa with about 6 other couples. We talked about our experiences that night, made out, I started playing with her boobs, and soon her girls were out in all their glory. It also helped us realize that, while we weren't put in that situation yet, we most likely won't have any jealousy issues because we felt more open with each other than we'd ever felt before. We screwed 3 times in the 12 hours following our return from the club...I can't remember even doing that as newlyweds!
Our 'local' club is Freedom Acres, which is only about 35 minutes away. We have already started planning an evening there - maybe next time we'll find some playmates!! We can't wait!!
