A recent thread got me thinking...since swinging, has the frequency of masturbation increased, decreased, or stayed the same for you? If there was a change, what do you think caused it? Does the frequency of going out to swing also play a part in it for you?

My advice for guys with the can't get it up problem has always been to avoid sex for at least a few days before a play date, and that includes wanking the willy.

I would say it has very much decreased not because of sex drive or an increase in the availability of partners but simply due to both lack of opportunity and planned dates.

Since masturbation generally implies an activity to utilize when a partner is not present, there are not many times I have both sufficient time to myself and am in the mood when I do to engage in self-love.

The other is, as Chicup indicated, is that even if I do sometimes, with respect to Billy Idol, have time for dancing with myself, I will refrain from any sexual activity if we have an upcoming date within a few days just to build up my fluid reserves and minimize issues.

Another minor reason may be since getting back into the LS and perhaps with the reality of having sex with actual other women, wanking to porn just does not hold the same appeal as before.

For me, the male, I think it has decreased, but for the Mrs., it has increased in frequency. We also began working out more since we started this journey so that may be the reason for my decline.

When we first started swinging, I'd say that the first 6 months, I was probably insatiable. I kept wanting more and more and that meant a definite increase in masturbation as well as sex. However, now that things have settled down, it's just like usual where sometimes there will be weeks where I do it once a day or every other (being extremely horny) and sometimes I'll go weeks without (not as horny). I've always been that way, even when I was in middle school. So...I'd say that there's not really a change in that manner but perhaps a change in what I fantasize about.

That was about my experience. But as things progressed and the events just start to feel like they're "normal" things have leveled out and pretty much gone back to pre swinging patterns.
