Laura has her own rules for herself, I have mine for me. Niether of us goes out on "dates" alone. Not because the other asked us not do, but because that is how we both feel. I don't want to go out without her.

Partnership or not, I don't feel that I have the right to tell Laura she can or can not do something. I don't do it in any other part of our life and I won't do it in our lifestyle either.

When she agreed to be with me she did not agree to be ruled by me or follow some made up set of rules for her life that I may or may not have. It works for us. Not saying it is right for anyone else but has worked for many, many years for us.

I think you and Laura must have a tremendous relationship. I must say, I'm envious.

We haven't come to that point in our swing life yet. I hope someday we do.

VegasLee, I like your style. Now I am envious because she does not feel that way. To me, our marriage certificate is not an ownership document.

Well Brian and I have talked about rules before, but nothing has been set in stone except the condoms. Oh and leaving together. However, I have no problems with him playing with someone and me not and vice versa. I tend to just chill when we're at any club. Most of the time we go to the club it's after a very long hard day for me and I just want to sit and "people watch" much like I do anywhere.

I dunno, now I feel weird that we don't have a list of long rules or something. Hmmmm, but rules were never really our thing to begin with.
