Hello from sunny Denver!

Hi there! I go by Cream and my boyfriend is Fresh. I'm a 28 year old female and Fresh is 23. We're both students and work full time. I'm a receptionist and Fresh is in customer service. We met when Fresh was 20 and fell in love, but I'd had more sexual encounters than he had at that point - threesomes, public sex, a sampling of partners in both genders, etc. A few months after we moved in together (which was only a few months after we met) I told him I wanted to give him some of the opportunities he "missed out" on by entering an intense committed relationship so early in life. He was excited by the prospect, and we know that sharing with other couples was going to be the way to go, but it took us a couple of years to really start doing anything about it. Part of me has actually gotten a little nervous about all this, even though it was my idea, and I think it's because I reached a comfort zone in my monogamy and I'm a little afraid of rocking the boat now. As I learn more, however, I am starting to get more and more excited!

At this point, we're doing our homework trying to understand the lifestyle and the steps necessary for us to move past talking about it and into acting on it! We have not even started answering or posting ads. Just looking, learning, and constantly updating a reaffirming what OUR boundaries will be when the time comes. Since I'm especially comfortable on message boards and online communities (more so than Fresh is), I am really happy to have found this site. I can already tell this will be a safe haven for us to be able to learn and proceed forward.

Hey Cream and Fresh, welcome to the board! Im new here too and the wife and I just started swinging about a month ago. We have been married for 10 years and I know what you mean about being comfy with monogamy. We have found that things have only gotten hotter and more comfortable in our relationship since we started. I mean we had a really close and intimate relationship before, but the freedom to express any and all desires is just a whole new level of communication for us. And it is just plain FUN!

Wow! Thank you all for the warm welcome! This board, and the people on it, have already been incredibly helpful. I find myself more excited each minute! I hope to get Fresh posting here soon, too, though he's not an internet nerd like I am. :p
