Hi everyone -

We are a 41/40 yr old couple in the suburban Kansas City area (KS side). We are relatively new to the idea of swinging. We toyed around with the idea for a while, and never really explored the possibility out of fear of damaging our fantastic marriage. However, some recent events and influences have led us to talk more about the possibility and gather information about the lifestyle. We're anxious to read about things and interact with people here! Well, it was nothing earth-shattering really - more of a combination of things. We've always had a strong drive and often role-play and fantasize about things. We also used to frequent chat rooms where we would openly flirt. We discussed threesomes about 3 yrs ago, but never did it, and the idea kinda went away for a while. However, over the last several months, we've become regulars at a new club in downtown KC. We both like to flirt with others there (Mrs JoCo has a constant flirt-fest going with a couple of members of the house band), and we have spent a couple of evenings there with a couple whom we know are active. It's all just kind of sparked the curiosity again. Plus, we are more open with our thoughts and communication than ever. Life has thrown a lot of crap our way over the past year or so, and we've come through it stronger than ever. I guess we both have just warmed to the notion that now is a good time to start exploring!

We are in the same position.

We have been through so much stuff. Wife had cheated a while back and we got through it. I had also before we were married. We have went through the most trying times in anyone's lives. Not just as a couple in our relationship but just difficult situations.

Now we are through those for the most part and we have come out stronger for it also.

I love my wife dearly and her recent exploration has only strengthened my love for her. See, she was a virgin when we got together and I was the only one she was ever with. So when she got with another person, I was proud of her in the sense that it took guts to do it, and she did something reckless and crazy and all of that. The night she told me, I made love to her like never before..

So now, we are looking to expand our lives and it's been great just having the discussion. And she is finding out that more people are open to it than she realized.

Our problems were health related (her back) and the issues that came around as a result. But there is light at the end of the tunnel now, so life is getting better again!

Wife is more open to accepting her sexuality and we are exploring life together as partners.
