Hello from Texas

Hi all. We have just joined the board but are not new to swinging. We are a long time married couple 57 and looking to share some of our experiences here. We've been swinging for about five years,, and though we are not with a new couple evry weekend we've been with a few couples (8 or 9) and some.. well most many times as we do enjoy getting together with those we regard as friends. Are most folks like us or do most couples have more experiences than that?

you will find all different types of experiences on this board, we are more like yall with staying mostly with couples and single guys we know but when we go to clubs we have found fun with other couples.

Glad you found us! You'll find that there are many types of swingers on this site. Some will be like you, who prefer the company of a few select couples, while others like to go to clubs and parties every weekend. We hope to hear more from you two!

Welcome to the board. Yeah, there are all types of swingers here. We've found recurring house parties to be the fun we enjoy. We get to know the regulars and see new faces too...

to the board! I don't know that there really is a "most do it this way" approach to swinging. Everyone is different and takes the approach that works best for them as a couple.

Thanks to all who replied. Seems like a nice group here much like we have found almost all of the people we've encountered in our swinging experiances to be. I am sure that most folks have different approaches to swinging and as the french say Vive la Differance(sp? my french sucks) seems like most of the couples we have been involved with are like us, long time married couples most married longer even than our 28 years. Does that seem to be the "norm" if there is such a thing? Maybe it's just that we are attracted to couples who are in stable relationships. We have met one long time married couple though where the female was definately looking for a new man that was uncomfortable and a relationship we ended promptly. We do enjoy hearing of other couples experiances in this "lifestyle" so thanks again for the replies.

We mostly play with other couples same room I love to watch her with another and the sexual atmosphere of two or more couples in the same room is just amazing. we have never been to one of the clubs or to a party though we have had a couple of "sixsomes" and I'll have to admit they were fun.

I think we are within the range of "normal" similar to your description. I'm 52, she's 47, been married 30 years and swinging for 1. I guess the average age and marital duration are close to that at the parties we attend, and there's a wide range. I think most have more swinging experience than we do, but we see newbies at the parties too. We usually split up at the party and select our own playmates. We occasionally get together with other couples, but our first preference is parties. We haven't tried any of the local clubs yet.

Socolais Thanks for the insights. Parties do sound interesting we might have to try one or even a club. we know a few couples who have treid the clubs and enjoyed them maybe we should broaden our horizons. While we do enjoy our "steady couples" the the thrill of a someone new does lend a bit of excitement
