We saw, NickleBack... Great show and performance that anyone would enjoy. They really know how to jump up, and kick a whole in the sky Dave mathews.... Rained so hard the rain drops were blowing sideways. We stayed, he played, and it was still a good show. George Jones..... What can I say, he made it. And I'm glad he did, might be the last chance I get to see the legend sing. On a side note, I can say there were 75 % women to 25 % men there.... that really surprised me, and I'm pretty close to saying 85 % of everyone, was pretty shit faced drunk and having a great time. Recently, a local bluegrass festival. I've never seen so many people, genuinely happy and having a good time. We have tickets to see Snoop Dog in October. So what's your music entertainment been recently ? How was the show ? |

In recent months: Cowboy Mouth - great band from NOLA Gary Hoey - blues/surf/rock guitar player. Great job and a really sincere and down to earth guy. One of the opening acts was the drummer from Guns & Roses with his band. They were really good. Did alot of G&R covers and I think the vocals were better than Axel Going back 1 or 2 years ago: Peter Framptom - wife still loves him Extreme (had the hit More Than Words) Joe Bonamassa - phenomenal guitar player We don't get out to many larger acts. The venues are typically a longer drive and just too expensive. I'd rather spend the money on dinner or a trip to the beach. |

| Now thats my kind of brunch, I enjoy classical. I suppose I should mention the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra as a local performance and gathering, I for one support and visit.

Just in case you or anyone else goes looking on a Sunday morning, I remembered it incorrectly. Put Mellon Park into your Garmin GPS navigation device, not Schenley Park. In spite of the event's name, it's not always classical/orchestral music. Today it's the Edgewood Symphony Orchestra. Be there or be square. | ||

AC/DC, they were great!!! Their music has been such a backdrop to our lives from way back when in our teens until now that it was great to finally see them live and loud. Good show, every couple of weeks I Youtube the animated intro / Rock N Roll Train performance that they opened with just to relive it. Most recently, the Mrs. and some girls saw the Black Eyed Peas with Ludacris and said that was a good show too. |

We saw the Scorpions at the Ford Amphitheater in Tampa a few weeks ago...Their album called "World Wide Live" from the mid' '80's is my favorite and they did most of it. They were kind enough to do their songs the way I remember them... Saw Nickelback a couple of years ago...loved'em. We saw April Wine at House of Blues in Orlando a few years ago...it was the drummer's 60th birthday...he broke his drums at one point and they had to stop the show for repairs...it was great fun and the venue is small so you're close to the action. Best show ever... The Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the Orlando Arena... It was a solid 3 hours of an 8 piece orchestra, 4 electric guitars, 2 singers, 4 back-up singers, a hot woman with an electric violin and a kick-ass drummer. Laser lights, elevating stages, CO2 pumped in to make a really cool mist (literally cool) and a huge guy with the second coolest voice on the planet who narrated the story that the first half of the show was based on... I could go on and on... Trace |

Within the last year or so, we've seen Chicago/Earth Wind & Fire, Billy Joel/Elton John, Starship, and Little River Band. All very good shows.
