Swingers and Saturdays

Why do swinger couples only seam to party on Saturdays? Does it go back to their singles days and date night? Travel? Something else I am missing? It seams that Saturdays are the only night they party. Just curious...

Well for us personally it goes with the kids. My ex picks up our oldest daughter every other Friday night, sometimes as late as 9pm so that's out. And when he doesn't take her, my mother in law will sometimes take my three oldest overnight but needs to wind down Friday night from her busy work week.
So, Saturday works for us.

Same reason for us, the kid. Her father has her evey other weekend but my sweety bear doesn't off work on Friday until late. It's all about logistics.

Most people have the weekend off? Harder to part on a work night.

Our "Saturday" night happens to be on Wed. night. That is when we prefer to party and find it very difficult at times to find others to party with on that night.

When Friday is a usual work/kids day you hardly feel like doing squat by 8pm. When I was single, ok it was a LOT of moons ago, ANY night could be party night because I was only responsible for myself. We have been known to party on Saturday night, anytime Sunday, and an occasional weekday or so because my weekend nights can be tied up depending on my booking schedule.

My theory...

Has to be a day when you have the opportunity to sleep in the next day...
Friday most people are working daytime ... tired from work... shower, change, meet not going to be at your best to enjoy whatever happens next.
Saturday... have the WHOLE day to pamper yourself or if you are entertaining...clean the house, visit the best grocer/shop for the "special" treats etc. ... you are in the weekend mindset and are geared up for fun.

We couldn't agree more. Friday night we are just too tired after a long week of working. We can sleep late Saturday, get up and finish our chores, and be ready to relax by Saturday night. Then, if we party all night long, we can sleep until afternoon on Sunday if we need to.

Saturday's for us too. Too hectic on Friday's, middle of the week won't work at all, plus we enjoy the kick back day of Sunday. We have met folks for lunch on Sundays, but we don't play on first meeting anyway, so that isn't a factor.

Our busy schedule allowed us to party with another couple on a Sunday afternoon. Helped that the weather did not want us outside.

Nothing like a little afternoon delight!

Guess the picture is pretty clear as to why Saturdays are popular among swingers.
We're in the same boat. Hubby works also and every 2nd sat half days, so he's able to 'play' Sat nights and have Sunday to sleep in. Also have children to consider so they go to grandmas on those weekends.

You can pretty much forget Fridays for me. I work on Saturdays, so it is like my Friday. I have a few hours before we have to be somewhere. Sunday would be good sometimes.

Everybody's workin for the weekend!!!!

We're in the same boat. Work all week, kids at home. etc. Friday is our Family nite, where Sat. is our Adult nite.
