King size bed or two doubles??

Hello we are getting closer at doing this and FEELING A LOT more comfortable about this. Our question is for two couples - one new very new and the other new - is it better to have a king size bed with both couples on it (average size bodies) or have two double size beds with each couple on their own bed??

It kinda depends on who's going to be doing what to whom. For example, do either of the pairs (couples) want to be in close enough proximity to touch or kiss? Will there be any same sex (whether girl-girl or guy-guy) or threesome-within-a-foursome activity? Or are your plans to simply swap partners?

Go with two full size. That'd be my advice. Since there will be no cross touching, you can watch each other without getting in each other's way.

Personally, the king size bed would be ideal for us

In the end, it probably doesn't really matter. Once you get into it, you'll all be happy with a well carpeted floor if that is all there is available.

Wow, that issue has never came up with us before, the cpl's we have played with either own a kingsized bed, or we played on our king sized bed

Whatever works for you is what would be best.

We like a pile...lol..so we like to all be together. The king is what works best for us. Now, when we set up an over-nighter where we will need to sleep. We have found that we usually like a bed by ourselves. So I guess to answer is a not very helpful, "it depends". But one thing you should do is to simply ask your playmates what they like.

However, if there is no girl-girl or guy-guy play, I'd probably go with the two doubles.

I would prefer two doubles, just because it is rare for everyone to have the same rhythm and if one couple is going at it fast and furious and the other is going more slow and sensual it can be real distracting. It really doesn't make a lot of difference to us though, either way works.

Okay, this is not coming from experience with swinging lol, but I think 2 doubles would be the best bet...its what I would prefer. Just like prior posts, that enables you to do your "own thing" so to speak while still being in very close contact with the other couple.
