When I see this in profiles I wonder what the couple is trying to communicate.

Is this their way of saying they have children? Most women who swing are moms and usually list this elsewhere in their profile, so what's the point?

Is this a way of saying she's a hot enough mom that teenage or college boys would want to have sex with her? Swingers aren't looking for teens and usually not 21 yo young men to play with, so what's the point in saying that a such young men would find you sexy?

I've always been confused by seeing this reference. Help me out folks.

We've seen it in profiles every once in a while. Thought they had a bit of a sense of humour and maybe a wild side as well. The one couple we did chat to that had this reference in their profile, we didn't ever meet, but it wasn't because of that. Mrs. 2lookin said of her picture: yes she sure is a MILF facelick . I think I would view that description as someone who has a kid/s and considers themself sexually attractive....to anyone, not necessarily young people.

I think it is used as a term to distinguish girls from women. I'm sure a man coined the term because virtually every boy growing up has a friend's mom he fantasizes about.

I guess someone decided that Cougar wasn't enough of a derogatory term for older women and they decide to use this new one MILF. Gotta wonder who is the first dunderhead that comes up with these things. It certainly gives websites and porn films new titles to use and abuse.

I think we women should have a meeting and come up with a few "terms" for me ourselves. MILF could be changed to "Men I like to Fuck" any other suggestions.

Yeah, my thought is that they probably watch/are into that type of porn. They might be joking, but I would guess that the majority of people that use this term are using it in an attempt to be cool and play into this newly appropriated fetish of the "desperate housewife." In my opinion, (and remember, opinions are like armpits--we all have them and they all stink!), but in my opinion, milf is not derogatory; it's descriptive.

When I was little, I'd go to a friend and spend the week with him in Louisville during the summer; then a couple of weeks later, he'd come to my house and spend the week with me. This went on for years.

Absolutely and the previous poster shows it perfectly. It is a male driven fantasy/stereotype, he thinks of the term as a positive comment. I as an older female with children, do not.

In a word, yes, but it also refers to any somewhat more mature, hot woman. You might even be one yourself...

In my quest to answer this question I decided to ask the one who knows all (or he thinks he does), my 18 year old son.

According to him, a MILF is a hot female that has children. She can be of any age and appearance, it all depends on the male's preference. My son's preferences are, "ages 18 through 35 , long blond hair, big boobs, and small butt". His friends have different preferences.

He also informed me that there are GILF's (Grandmother's) and GGILF's (Great-grandmother's), but they are rare, if not a myth. Kind of like the proverbial Unicorn I guess.
