Petition to keep Swingtown on the air

The show is not officially cancelled yet, so let's do what we can to keep it that way!

Sign the petition, then email it to all your friends, post it in other forums, groups and even other lifestyle sites you belong to!

I signed but I'm wondering if it's bad news that there is no episode scheduled for next week, instead Friday night is "Preseason football".

According to another msg board, the show will continue in 2 weeks with episode 12, with the summer season finale showing on Sept 5.

The Swingers Board will still be here. As for the SwingTown forum that will stay open as long as there are posts to it. However, I'm sure eventually it will be moved to archive status (read-only - like the many other forums listed at the bottom).

We were just bummed when we turned the channel and found football on Friday night. We too are hoping this does not spell the end for this wonderful show.

2,448 signatures had been signed as of this morning. That's nothing. Unless a lot more participation is done, we can be sure Swingtown will soon be a thing of the past.

They are still scheduled to finish the season. And I just posted an article in another thread about how some folks at CBS are wanting to keep the show alive, even if it's on cable... so it IS being shopped. It's not dead yet.

CBS officially kicks Swingtown out of bed -TV Guide

I guess we all knew it, but it looks like it's really over. Did they leave the smallest of windows open though with the entertainment president's comment "......right now"?
