Swingtown fans:

PLEASE take the time every day to provide positive feedback about the show. To do so, you may click on this link to the CBS feedback page: Feedback Form on CBS

You will notice that Swingtown is not listed on the feedback page dropdown list. I am assuming they removed it to help reduce comments on BOTH sides of the equation. At any rate, you may click on "Other - not listed" and provide your positive support for Swingtown. I also encourage you to provide the same feedback to your local CBS affilliate. I'm sure the haters are doing it - probably more vocally than we are. We need to step it up!!

Please remember that feedback has its greatest effect when the writer is civilized and positive in his/her presentation. Telling CBS that they suck because they moved the show to Fridays or because they may cancel it does NOT help the cause!

Just my two cents, but if you are not swingers, I think it would be helpful to let them know -- not because of what you or I may think, but just because I believe that will help them realize that swingers aren't the only fans.

We just sent in some positive feedback and comments. We also requested that if the fate of the show has already been decided, that they at least air all 13 episodes. If we hear back from them we'll post the response here.

we just looked over there and the show wasn't even on the drop-down list.

We just did what the OP suggested and chose "Other - Not Listed", then we specified Swingtown in the comments area.

Who do you think reads those? Do you think that the comments will matter?

I have posted a response to CBS also. But also I think the only way to get their attention to contact the sponsors of evening programming on CBS. Tell the sponsor that you saw their ad on Swingtown and that influenced you to buy their product.

Also, if you are contacting sponsors, contact Proctor & Gamble and Phillips/Norelco and suggest that they reconsider their position. They were sponsors for the first episode or two, and then dropped their sponsorship. According to a report, P/N dropped due to FIVE complaints. FIVE.

By the way, the CBS Swingtown board had a post from the director of CBS Audience Services that the dropdown box will be fixed shortly and will have Swingtown listed again.

I also want to point out that an actual mailed letter will always hold more weight with a company than an email. Also, companies often figure that each letter actually represents at least 20 customers.

So if anyone can find a snail mail address for CBS and posts it, we could all send actual mail in support which would be super way more effective than email.

Here's my offering for today:

Swingtown is a unique show that I really enjoy. Except for Boston Legal, I never watch prime time TV. Swingtown has made me return for each show because it explores issues that no other network does.

The Seventies' music brings a reminiscent smile to my face!

I sent some feedback yesterday saying that they have a big hit in the making and to keep it on the air as long as possible.

Folks, if you have not already written to CBS, be sure to do so. This is the last episode for now. But with the right push there is still hope that it might resurface on another network.
