Swingtown: what episode would you write?

I think i would like to see a flashback episode that shows how the Deckers got together and how they started swinging.

oh, and heres a thought, maybe show more episodes of actual SWINGING in swingtown. lol

We'd definately like to see more actual swinging on SwingTown! I don't really care about a flashback showing how the Deckers got together (I think from their conversation it was pretty clear that was via working together and one thing led to another and cheating happened). I think it would be interesting to see how their relationship became what is is (open/swinging).

What's happening between the Deckers and any other neighbors? Did they have something going on with the previous owners (occupants) of the Miller's house?

How does Bruce react when he is outed at work?

We know that girl-on-girl was not too popular back then, but damn it we want to see some on this show! Preferably Trina seducing a reluctant Janet.

The flashback thing with Tom and Trina Decker sounds good too, how they met, etc.

if this show had been put on HBO or SHO where it really belongs, i think you'd see a lot more swinging.

With SwingTown's move to Friday night at 10Eastern/9central on Friday nights aka the place where shows go to die, maybe if it does get canceled on network television, the producers can shop it to one of the cable networks. I'd pay for HBO/Showtime or whatever to continue to see this show. It's great!

I'd write the episode in which a cute couple from Southwest Virginia cranked up the Delorean time machine, visited the Deckers for the weekend, and enjoyed a pool party and "the basement" with a dozen or so couples.

Probably a limited audience for that episode, but I'm all about the art. I don't sell out for ratings.

i read an article in [i think] entertainment weekly about ST before it aired. according to that article, the show was made for and shopped to HBO & SHO originally.

those networks passed because they had other projects going at the time and didn't have room for the show.

the creators were actually surprised when CBS showed interest and they had to edit out the explicit scenes and tame down the dialogue for its run on prime time network.

it's looking like the show is basically done there, but i don't see why the pay networks would change their minds after seeing it fail on CBS.

Now, a Cable network might be the savior. If you've ever seen USA's Dirt with Courtney Cox, it's as adult as i've ever seen on TV outside of the pay networks. I wouldn't mind going there to see Trina... especially in HD!

Something tells me this show isnt going anywhere regardless of the time slot. I know a lot of ppl in and out of the lifestyle that love this show. Im crossing my fingers that ST will hold on to its originality and not fall prey to the typical story lines, everyone lying to everyone, cheating and such (just for ratings) im hoping the network can see that what makes this show great was evident in the first episode when trina gave her speech about having everything all out on the table. its was fascinating to watch that episode. im hoping the network keeps that kind of spirit alive on the show because im not liking the direction it seems to be taking with the cheating. sure some couples lie and cheat but the majority of swingers i know, dont. Id like to think the story with susan and roger is going to included the spouses, otherwise theyre going to loose me.

I agree, girl/girl is something i want to see! there was a little spark in Trina and Susans eye that first night. I would have LOVED to see those two hook up. Id like to see Trina break in Janet as well. Shes got that innocent - but sex kitten underneath thing going on (i mean, look how she reacted to porn & to watching Tom chop wood). Shes DYING to get her groove on. lol.

To the virginia couple, Im writing my hubby and I into that episode! *patiently waits for her turn with Trina* yummy!

This series would be waaaayyy more entertaining on one of the cable networks. Network TV just can't do a series like this justice.

Someone in another post had mentioned that the cable companies rejected it, and that was before CBS picked it up. Dunno...

IMO the show was wounded by the writer's strike from the start. Had it come on with the rest of the new 07-08 schedule as intended, it would have been a much better bet.

I would like to see some actual swinging encounters. It started going really well tonight until they were interrupted by the daughter and her friend.

I'd agree with most of ya'll and say I'd like to see more swinging encounters. Even if they soft-peddle it like they did with Tom, Trina, and the ex-boyfriend . . . it would still be more entertaining. Perhaps if the cable networks do pick it up, we could see more of that.
(A girl can hope, can't she?)
