Swingtown - Over the Edge?

How many couples will use Swingtown as a conversation starter and maybe make their fantasies become a reality? We have several good friends (couples) that we would like to be more involved with. Before Swingtown, we have never been able to find a way to discuss the lifestyle. Something as simple as discussing a TV program may open new doors of opportunity.

We definately think thats a great idea especially if you think there might be some interest there. Then we still might have the friends that look at us wierd for even thinking of watching it. Still surprised that noone is talking about the show around the watercooler at work. well at least not where I work.

No one is talking about it at my work either....but that's fine with me. It would be a great conversation starter with friends that you might have some feelings towards.

They aren't talking about it at work, and I'm actually kinda glad about that. I don't play at work even though there are several ladies that I would love to get my hands on! Yes, the show is a good starting point for discussions. I haven't tried it yet, but will get a chance on Tuesday!

Even if you don't want to play with them it would be a great way to feel people out.

That's for sure. It is entirely appropriate to talk about new TV shows in mixed company and ask your friends if they have watched "Swingtown" on CBS.

It would be very interesting to see the reaction from the vanillas about the show and their views. After all most couples have watched "Desperate Housewives" which is about cheating pure and simple. We are starting a new thread on this.

if i did work i'd be with you on this one. hehehehe i'm open about our other life with most friends, but would kinda worry about people that where closer to our kids... like teachers and such that would try to make trouble if they didn't agree with it.

We have tried to start a conversation with friends about swingtown. No one wants to talk about it or they don't watch it. True with our poly friends also.
We watch it but don't think it is really great. We thought we would learn things from it about the life style.

We asked a friend what she thought of Swingtown. She hadn't watched it.

A couple of days ago she stopped by and enthusiastically said, "I watched Swingtown! I just loved it!" She had gone to the CBS website and watched all the episodes she hadn't seen. I didn't even know one could do that.

I expect her to pop up on this board soon.
