Default Did you meet your partner/spouse/SO in the lifestyle......

After watching Swingtown last week and the part where they showed Susan & Bruce "reconnecting" the morning after it got me to thinking........

Has anyone who met their partner/spouse or SO in the lifestyle and is currently doing the lifestyle together really ever experienced that level of "euphoria" that most couples who have been together a significant amount of time prior to doing the lifestyle seem to experience?

Just curious as to what others have experienced in similar situations........

Thanks.

We were together for well over a decade before she finally agreed to share. It only took me about 8 years of discussion, talking and did I mention begging? We are your stereo-typical couple in that the male initiated getting into the lifestyle but it's the female that keeps us grounded and still in the lifestyle today.

Dave and I didn't meet each other in the lifestyle, but tried it after 22 years of marriage. This doesn't really answer your question, but we can relate to Susan and Bruce after their first time. Dave and I were completely giddy, giggly and excited after our first time.

I would hope that we would be just as giddy if we'd met in the lifestyle.

When we saw that scene I looked at Pet and said... "that's what we looked like Sunday" (which was the "day after" for us).

It doesn't really relate to your question, as I can't answer it since we met outside the lifestyle and have a very long history together.

When my wife and I watched that scene we both looked at each and smiled and she said to me "That's just like us after we swing." Our best sex always seems to be the day after for us.

Kinda funny. I was actually doing the "single male" thing at the time when I met Amelia (if you want to read the entire story... I posted it somewhere). Obviously, when we started to date, I stopped.

Before we got married, I "came clean" with her and explained to her why my friends kept winking at each other and playing grab-ass all the time. She was cool with that. We remained friends with them and continued to hang out with them but never played with them. I guess you can say we were "Vanilla with a clue".

Mr. Sweet and I had been together 14 years before we started in the lifestyle, and neither of us had any prior experience with it.

Heck, I hadn't even had the token bisexual experience in college . . .

But we did feel giddy and euphoric after our first swing experience like Bruce & Susan.

=)
