Swinging while raising young children

Is there anyone here that has children under the age of 15? Our children are younger than that and so it makes the thought of this type of lifestyle seem difficult right now. They do spend time each month with grandparents on a whole weekend so that's usually our outlet right now to do what we want to do.

I just wondered if I'm alone with having younger children. From what I've read so far, it seems most parents on here have kids that have grown and moved out. So are we wrong for even considering this type of lifestyle right now?

If you find swingers in the low 30's you will often find young children still at home. We have one, and we are planning another one soon. I don't know what the lifestyle would have to do with young children besides give you another reason to find a baby sitter.

Sure its a lot EASIER without children at home, and we started that way ourselves, but its not been an issue.

We have children at home and it does make in inconvenient at times. Spur of the moment meets seldom happen. Heck, maybe it's a good thing to have a sea anchor holding us back. We are such sluts .............

Yeah, we are in the same boat. We have a young child and she goes to Grandma's one weekend a month so that really limits our fun! So many times we've wanted to go somewhere, but can't. It's tough, but we try to satisfy that 'quench' between ourselves.

We have three children that sometimes drive us nuts..

We drop them off at grandparents on the weekend for a night so that we may unwind. Just because we are in our 30's does not mean we are dead or should just sit at home. If for anything else a stress relief and sanity check is what we need on the weekends. We may not go out every weekend, but we try to get every now and then....

We have kids 11, 18 & 19. The last of the big kids leaves for college this year so there goes the built in sitter. When they were both home we made one take Friday Night and one Take Saturday so that there was always some for little brother to spend time with. Little brother loved his time with the High School Band friends or his brother or Evening with sister and her friends and we got some time off.

Oh well back to paying sitters and getting out less. But there is always summer camp.

Kids grow, work gets busy and we all go through stages where it's harder to get away but for us Before we got into the lifestyle we made time to get out and spend adult time with each other, and we still make adult time only now that may include more than just the two of us.

We have always told all our children that it was our job to make them independed and able to care for themselfs (This means able to manage money, clean up after your self, get an education, and be ready to live on your own) as for when they leave for college we convert their room to a guest room or office.

Kids will grow up and move on but we will still have a life together like we did before they showed up and like we plan on having after they are on their own.

We plan on being swinging grandparents some day and when the time comes want to be put in the nursing home for swingers.

We have a seven year old and are fairly new to FL so we don't even have a babysitter. We have just recently become interested in the swinging lifestyle. We get one nite a month with the little one away. Its been very hard to meet other couples.We can't get enough time to go to clubs or anything. We are moving back to KY where our families are and thank goodness they will be more than happy to babysit. I see nothing wrong with the lifestyle if you have young children. The only things I worry about are when I am on the computer and the little one has a tendency to sneak up on me and try to see what I am looking at. I have eyes in the back of my head now

I really don't want to hear "Mama, why are you looking a naked ladies?"

The only advice I have is to be careful when you talk about it or if your on the computer.

We have an almost 4 year old daughter and limit our playtime to 2x a month maximum. Between my parents, my sister, brother and best friend, we rotate who we ask to sit for us. We were such homebodies before we started swinging that we don't want to raise suspicions by going out all the time. Besides, family is important to us and 2 nights a month away from the little one is more than enough. My parents weren't always going out and I don't want to do the opposite in raising our daughter.

Your not alone at all, actually we tend to look for couples that have kids also, it seams to us thats the type of people we have the most in common with. Yeah, we can't attend a party every week, but you can still have fun once in a while w/out disrupting your children's lives.

Simple our big kids know. We are not doing anything we are ashamed of so why not. The kids respect us and see we have a loving relationship; the tough part is you can't be a hypocrite and tell the listen kids no sex untill your married and sex is a bad thing.

We may be saving them from years of guilt. Which does not mean we will not find other ways to make them feel guilty (That Jewish guilt trip will just have to be used on other things.)

Turns out we are the cool parents as our teenagers had access to condoms and were told that to be safe and remember sex is not necessarily love so have fun but be safe and you can always talk to one or both of us if you have questions. Which translates into ask your mother.

We have 3 small children all under the age of 7. We're not as active I guess as most swingers, spontanous meetings only work if the kids are already gone for the night. But we're happy with having fun every couple months.

We have three...11,3, and 6 months. We do not get to have "fun" as often as we would like so we have to make it really worth it when we do. We are fortunte enough to have a set of grandparents that live 5 minutes away and love to watch the boys... without them I am sure we would be doing allot less.

No we have 3 children, and our oldest is 12. Our private life parenting wise has nothing to do with our private life swinging wise. If anything has to do with them it is the great relationship that their daddy and I have from the lifestyle. You can be the soccer mom during the week, then the vixen on the weekend lol.
