The Kids ? What to tell them??

hi all ,

We`re new to the lifestyle and have recently found this site which we`re findin great.

we have a question... what to tell our children? family, friends etc....

how do you deal with these issues? Our 5 children in our blended family range in age from 10 to 21

your thoughts and ideas will be greatly appreciated

Why would you feel it necessary to tell them? Do you tell them when you use a dildo in your love play?

Discretion should be practiced in swinging, and at home. Make your plans, and descisions accordingly. Going out and meeting people is not wrong, we all have friends. But what happens after you meet them is your business only.

Either that or I haven't had enough coffee yet, this morning...

I wouldn't tell them anything.

We feel that our sex life is our business. We don't share that with the kids, it would be inappropriate.

If they were to find out and ask, I would tell them just that. It's none of their business.

Same for any of our friends, coworkers or extended family. We don't really care if people know, but it is our private, personal life.

When we started in swinging our children ranged in ages from 8 to 16...the only thing we ever (or have ever) told them was that Momma and Daddy were going out...they never thought anything about it as for years before we always had a date night.

There really is no reason to tell your children what you are doing. I'm sure there are numerous things in your life that you don't discuss with your children, why should this be any different.

Family and friends...why do they need to know? Unless someone is paying my way in life, they have no say over what I do with it.

I don't have kids, but I wouldn't tell them if I did.

The way I look: I sure as hell don't want to know when MY parents have sex or with whom.

Our blended family children range in age from 10-17. We don't tell them anything about swinging. We don't tell them about anything else we do in our bedroom either. It just isn't any or their business what we do or who we do it with. When we go out Angel will either change into club wear in the car or after we arrive.

When we started in the lifestyle, all the kids were grown and gone. But now, of course, (

), one has moved back. (

) We also need a dog sitter while we are out for the night. And we always get a room.

We usually say we are going to a party, we will be doing some drinking, and will be spending the night. All of which is true!

I also made it clear that we like to take off once in awhile and get a room for the night. Which is also true!

It's hard when you have kids, but lifestyle or no lifestyle, married people NEED to take time out for themselves. It's what's best for all, IMO.

hhahaha.. ya.. the kids are fun and good entertainment. Guess that is why we had six of them. Something to Entertain us when we get old. I think they are getting old faster then we are though.
