Jon Bon Jovi is in line to star in a wife-swapping drama for Universal Pictures called One Wild Night. Variety says the story is based on an original pitch by the rocker and centres on four swingers who indulge in a night of passion and live to regret their lustful deeds. Bon Jovi's previous credits include The Leading Man and Pay It Forward.

Thought this looked interesting as I was browsing search. Jon is hot! I would watch this.

Every woman on the face of this planet will be crammed into the theatres when this hits. If Jon Bon Jovi is having sex in this movie they will have to hose down the theatre after each showing. Do you remember the lines for the next Star Wars? Women [and probably a few men] waiting in line for days. Giggling nervously. Eager with anticipation. Vibrators and other instruments in their purses. A glazed, hungry look in their eyes.

In John Carpenters second Vampire flick he did a great job as the lead character. Considering the lead in the first was James Woods, that is a big morsel to bite off for a musician. We tend to be pretty wooden when the camera rolls for anything but music.

sounds like a great rally cry for a swingers board night out . can you imagine the debates we all could get into if we all got together in a movie theater to watch this and there were "normal" couples...forget about the hoses to put out the fires they would have to use them on us ....

On a related note... I just had to share this... cuz it still cracks me up.

One night last week I was at a local club listening to a band play. Towards the end of the night a guy was sitting next to me chatting a bit when they started to play "Livin on a Prayer". Of course, everyone in the audience was singing along to the point where the band itself was really only singing about half the song.

Guy next to me asks, "Who sings this?".

I was stunned. How could someone not know who sings this song?

So I asked him, "How old are you?". Thinking maybe he's just too young to remember.

He replied, "22".
And I was like "Well that explains it".

As he goes into this diatribe about how he hates it when people make a big deal about his age and he's not that young, etc. I'm thinking... wait a second Bon Jovi is still around, they still have new stuff coming out. It's not like they are an 80's band he might have just missed.

"Dude, it's Bon Jovi. They are still around"

His response... "Well that explains it then... I don't like them... they're a pussy band" He went on to say that he did like some 80's rockers... like Def Leppard and Poison.

I'm sorry? What? You like Def Leppard but you think Bon Jovi is a pussy band? Did I miss something here?

I get the feeling from reading the synopsis that this is going to be an anti-swing film. This is the hint "live to regret their lustful deeds". I guess we'll have to wait to see how it is portrayed.
