This is one of the shows I've gotten somewhat addicted to. Last night one of the main characters (Brenda) went to a swinger party. Oddly enough they actually did a pretty good job of representing a swinger party (I think someone did some research <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> )

Darn it! I'm hooked on that show too, but missed it last night, lol, but it comes on again tonight, so I will definitely catch it and let you know what I think.

I was just pissed that Brenda didn't want to take Nate along to the party.

Ok, I finally caught the show last night and to say the least, I was impressed with how well they did it. I agree with you Julie, somebody did some research, lol.

Did anyone else get the impression from Brenda's little flashback this week that they are going to try to blame her sex addiction on walking on her parents swinging?

Granted that should not have happened and it sucks that any parent would do anything like that with thier kids around (but I've seen it happen).

This is one of our favorite shows, too. I think we missed the episode with the swinger party -- anyone have it on tape?

I'm not sure that I would classify Brenda as having a sex addiction, though. I think it is more a case of her trying to come to terms with the prospect of "settling down" with Nate. Of course, as we all know, marriage doesn't have to be the end of sexual adventures. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Maybe a case of a "self-fulfilling prophecy" -- all of her close relationships in the past (especially family) have been so messed up that she isn't quite sure how to deal with a relationship that doesn't have some sort of strain on it. These escapades are her way of putting her relationship into somewhat familiar territory -- for better or worse.

I found it a little disturbing (although somewhat predictable for Brenda) that she could be so angered by Nate's predicament with his ex with all of the crap that she has been doing.

I say that mostly because she can't seem to control herself anymore or what she does.

well, the next show brenda picks up 2 teens who are walking by her house,they smell the joint she is smoking and ask if she can sell them one. she takes them back to her bedroom for some fun. i think she's getting worse every show. anyway, makes for real interesting tv.
