One about Strangest and one Yay or Nay on them. I could not find one about what people thought were the best themes for parties. Although a few posters covered that within those threads. If you are not into theme parties, what themes might you consider getting into the swing of things for (so to speak) for? If you are into them what are the ones you like best? Personally, I like: Beach/Hawaiian, easy enough to wear my favorite Hawaiian shirt and who can resist the hula. Mardi Gras, - beads, drinks and topless women. Black Tie, it is nice to get dressed up now and again. What are some your favorites? |

(And the question of exactly HOW "themed" you want to stay throughout the night) Halloween is usually the spark that starts this ... (everyone shows up in costume & masks) ... but depending on your costume, this could be REALLY difficult to get in & out of your costume to do any sort of play. If it's too much trouble to get back into - then the theme quickly gets dropped & everyone is just running around semi-dressed / naked. (Not that this is a bad thing!) Prom Night ... my friend tried this one a few months ago. A chance to get "dressed up" and wear those fancy clothes. A Prom King & Queen were crowned & everything. Mardi Gras ... a fun theme where people toss beads back and forth as a souvenier / reward to the guests. Homecoming ... basically a jocks & cheerleader's theme. Guys dress up to re-live their sports fantasies ... and the gals dress up to give the guys their cheerleader fantasies. Bacchanal ... a REAL fun theme. Togas. Wine. Laurel Crowns. (A very minimal outfit means there's lots of naked people!) Casino Night ... poker takes on a whole new meaning (*wink wink*). Guests are encouraged to "gamble" with each other for chips / clothing / favors / rewards. The party I went to had guests fill out an "application" if they wished to participate in a midnight-auction and guests could bid on the applicants with the chips they'd won throughout the night. Black-Out Night ... I've yet to do this as a full-party theme, but I've had some friends do this as a specialized room at a party. The lights are out and you can't see ANYTHING in the room (furniture is removed & replaced with pads / mattressed on the floor for obvious safety reasons) ... everything is done in the dark & you have to rely on all your other senses to find & play with your partner(s) A silly theme I came up with a few years ago was to have a "Caveman Party" -- show up in loin-cloths & furs ... (NO SPEAKING once the theme goes into effect) ... you have to "talk" to each other only in caveman grunts and gestures.

| ~ like peas and carrots ~ | SAM, I like the caveman thing. Very uncommon. It would be like Raquel Welch and Ringo Starr. I think they were in two separate movies, weren't they?

Boom Boom out go the lights - the party is started, as guests arrive, glow necklaces, or bracelet are handed out.. and as the evening progresses, the DJ either plays the song, or TAPS the MIKE.. and 5 seconds later out go the lights for 20 minutes.. ( blacklights however are lit ) 3. Hookers and Johns - as guests enter, they can purchase Hunny Money, to a set amount Like $250 for $20 actual cash, Couples are assigned numbers as are their dollars, so Wives CAN'T use their own hunney money.. at a set time, if doors open at 9, start time is 11pm.. from 11 to 1:30am, women are to use whatever means, skills, and NEGOTIATIONS they can to get all the hunney money they can from the Johns.. at 2am, the woman with the most wins the actual proceeds from the sale of the hunney money.. and title "top Ho" .. until the next event is held 4. Tribute to Hef - Pajama Party, As guests arrive, Digital pics are taken, and they are assigned a number, and a printed copy is tacked to a wall space, ballot box underneath on a table, everyone gets a ballot as they enter.. 5 categories.. Most Likely to, Sexiest, Best matching, funniest, most COMFORTABLE.. after a few hours of possible voting , votes are tabulated and the winners posted get a prize.. More ideas a swirling in the cortex.. these are just a few..

A particular color, or maybe "shiny", etc. Have been to and enjoyed both of those themes, plus the following: -4th of july (i.e. red/white/blue) -wild animal (i.e. animal print, or stuff with animals on it, etc) -mardi gras (bright colors and beads) -halloween is always easy -decade themes (70's, 80's have been popular) I hate black tie/formal. most swingers I know find it a pain in the butt. Also hate "masked" things (a la "eyes wide shut"). |

We women LOVED seeing our men (and all the rest) in tuxedos or black suit and tie, and the men told us that we women looked absolutely HOT in our formal attire- corsets, and in my case, a big black lace skirt. The next morning at breakfast we all couldn't stop talking about what a thrill it was to dress up, and yes, the masks made it even better.

| Julie's Helper | I was thinking...I got a BJ yesterday for having my tool belt on. Mrsfun said I looked sexy up on the roof with my tool belt on.... So, I'm thinking..... either she's just glad to see me "working" on my project, or maybe a "construction workers" gig might be fun. Or, maybe a house party just for gettin-r-done..... Is that really a theme though, or just a reason ? ![]() fun4ds

Not because we need the roof fixed (which we do) but owing to the fact that seeing a man wearing a tool belt tickles her most profoundly-held fantasies. |
