Default Hotel party... any drawbacks?

A buddy and his wife have been planning a gangbang for her b-day( in about two weeks). This is going to be at an upscale hotel, and about 7 to 10 people will be in the room. I think it's going to be standard room? Can hotels limit the number of occupants? Might this be considered an illegal activity? Does the hotel need to know? I've always been in private residences and never with this many people so, I'll like to get some feedback. My buddy said that once they were hassled at a hotel in Montgomery Al., this will be held in Washington DC.

My wife and I have been to a couple of parties that were hosted in a hotel-room. Everything went smoothly. But I guess sometimes not. If you see someone trying to attach a sex swing to the ceiling, would be best to leave.

Another dumb swinger story.

Hotels are VERY squeemish about swinger-parties at their locations (most have a strict "no-party" rule when it comes to their rooms). I used to host parties in some local hotels & would have to be VERY careful about booking the room (rooms/suites) and then disclosing the information ONLY to the party-guests.

I would always have to make sure that all my guests would know NOT to approach the main-desk or ask desk person for the room number. And we'd always be wary about making too much noise or else risk hotel-security come knocking.

I've hosted many small (5-15 person) gatherings in hotels as varied as a Holiday Inn Express to an upscale, old line downtown hotel. I have never had any issues with security being called or other guests complaining.

The main things to make sure of are (1) give the room number to all of the participants before the party; and (2) keep the noise to an acceptable level. It always helps to get a suite-type room, at the end of a hallway so there are a minimum of neighbors and noise has more space to dissipate.

Otherwise, as long as all of the guests are mature adults, I can't imagine there would be any trouble.

I've hosted several small hotel parties without any issue. As long as the guests aren't staying over night and you don't create so much noise that one of your neighbors complains you should be fine. You might want to specifically request a room at the end of the hall, and then also book the room next door if you are worried about noise.
