Key and Lock Party

Going to our Fav club this week, they are having a Key and Lock party. This is our first key and lock party, can anyone tell us what to expect? The knowledge we get from this site is like a free education! Thanks

I'm not exactly sure what a Key and Lock party is but, I have heard of a game being played called that.

Upon arriving guest are given either a lock or a key. Throughout the night they are suppose to go around and find either the key that fits the lock they have or the lock that fits the key they have. It's an icebreaker game that gets people up, moving around and meeting others.

I have never heard of this ? I could see this within a group of people who are quite OK with play between all.

But I wouldn't want to be obligated at a random chance of unknown people to have sex as the outcome.

You say its your favorite club, but for this guy there are just some I don't want to have sex with at the club. And I can assure you there are many women who don't want to have sex with me as well.

I just would want to feel or expect any obligation.

Were there rules, or even guidelines previously established ?

And suppose the host got a set of 3 or 5 locks all keyed the same ?

It might be fun as an ice-breaker ... but there can't be imposed "must play" rules with any key-/lock-combination.

Generally, it's just a "get to know you" game, as TnT described. We played it at our favorite on-premise club once and they just gave all the ladies a lock and all the guys a key. You went around trying to find the person with your match (in my case the guy who could unlock my lock). Once you found your match,you got a point, then you got a new lock or key and started over. THey did this for like a half hour or so and the guy and girl who had the most matches at the end of the night one something.

This could be played in a sexual way (like the old key parties) where everyone is given the lock and key then one you find your match your play, but chances are unless it's at a house party or among friends, it's likely just the "get to know you" game.

We have play a variation on this with nuts and screws. You can already imagine some of the lines passed around that night.
