Hosting a Hotel Party

We have M&G's about once a month and their good to meet new folks and see some friends you don't get to see often. The thing is the anticipation of hooking up at the end of the night with other couples for playtime and not being able to host at our house so that's a big drawback. We were thinking of skipping the M&G and having a play party at a hotel within two joining rooms and asking for donations of 10 dollars to help pay for the rooms. Four double beds and limit it to 6 couples. Munchies and BYOB and the rules would be the same as a house party, except this is at a hotel.

The questions is, would you be interested in paying to go to a playing party and how would you like night to go? I know they have bigger hotel parties, but we're from a small town. Has anyone tried this and have any suggestions or comments?

If this was setup by a couple we knew and played with, or a group of couples we played with, then we'd have no problem helping pay for the rooms. I wouldn't pay to go to the party, but if the group wanted to have everyone together in a hotel then we'd pay our share of the room.

With couples we didn't know, probably not.

We've been to house parties and larger hotel parties. Never been to a small one that is hosted in a few rooms. We've been invited to them before via Swing Lifestyle groups that do this, but have been hesistant to attend. At a house party and larger hotel parties my feeling is there are more social aspects to these events. At a hotel party it seems a little too much that playing is the only thing to do and perhaps expected; a little too much close quarters I think. But to provide "transparency", another reason I've not signed up is that is that, based on the profiles, we would not be interested in playing.

Not sure where your having these M&G's now ?

I know most M&G's we have been to, someone has plans of getting together somewhere. Although, one we went to was all newbies. We were the only ones who not only had intentions of playing, but the only ones who actually had played. We felt like such sluts, and kinda liked it.

The thing is, usually the M&G is for the purpose of not only meeting potential playmates but checking sanity levels also.

I don't think I would skip the M&G if there were unknown people involved. Whether going to a home afterward, or a hotel. We would at least want one couple who plays and is interested in doing so with us, before the expense of a room.

Do you have a regular group of people who you can verify, will be all about the sex ?

I guess the only way you could find out if this would work is to contact some folks that you would invite and ask them if they would be interested in doing it. If you just reserved the rooms and then invited folks to come, my guess is you would be stuck with a couple of rooms and no one to play with. Because frankly, the idea does not sound all that appealing to me.

The way most folks we know that can't host at home do it is that they reserve a room for themselves at a local hotel, go to the M&G, and then invite the folks they are interested in playing with back to their room in the hotel. I have never heard of anyone charging a fee for this though. Personally, I would want to play at my party, so I wouldn't charge for the simple reason that if I charged people to come to my hotel room to have sex with me, that would be prostitution, which is illegal. Sure, the argument can be made that you were all just splitting expenses for the room, but in the very likely event that your activities disturb other guests resulting in the cops getting summoned, I seriously doubt if the "splitting expenses" story would fly with them.

We belong to a number of Swing Lifestyle groups that routinely host hotel parties. We've never attended but my understanding is that a set of rooms are reserved (or perhaps some suites with multiple rooms) for the party. There is a fee for these parties to cover expenses. There are other groups that setup a M&G at a hotel and then it's up to the attendees to reserve their own room. We've attended that kind as the room is ours.

We host the M&G's at a bar with a semi-private area. We know the manager and he lets us get alittle crazy. I guess what I'm really asking is, trying to plan a play date with several selected couples at a hotel and the money issue is not a big deal, just an idea. Just thinking of breaking up the norm of M&G's with a play party at a hotel.

How would you guys liked to be asked or invited?

This would be with a list of couples that have either played before or are regulars in the group. If they choose to get a seperate room for privacy, that's ok.
