On-Premise vs. Off-Premise

I have read many posts, descriptions, etc regarding on-premise and off-premise clubs. I would like to know (and I understand different preferences for different people) but which atmosphere is most exhilarating?

I would say that it depends on the club or event. Some off-premise events we've been to are nothing more than meeting for a few drinks somewhere then heading off to homes or hotels/motels for playtime. For us, the club experience is more charged, if that makes sense. We've been to some pretty wild off-premise parties as well, but at the club there is always something in the air. Not always the case at off-premise events.

The one that's more exhilarating is the one where you meet someone who excites you. That's my honest answer.

It's the people that make the party!!! So that can change from night to night and from party to party.

If you meet and hit it off with people you find attractive and are comfortable with them and you all have a chemistry between you, that is exhilarating

If you don't meet anyone you are attracted and you don't hit it off with anyone, that is not exhilarating

The key is the chemistry between the people you interact with, not the type of location.

I agree with those that say go to both. In fact go to a variety of clubs and partys and meet and greets and meet people. You will have some fun nights and a few not so fun nights and every now and then you will have some spectacular nights!!!

I have to agree with The Fuse and BiloxiCouple. We have an on-premise club that we attend fairly often and we've attended many off-premise parties. Both have had their very exhilierating nights and both have had their dull nights. It all depends on the people who show up that night.

We attended probably 4 off-premise socials in one location and had about written the location off until last week when we tried it again only because there were at least twice as many people signed up as we'd ever seen signed up before. It made all the difference, the air was thick with fun and excitement. The crowd made it.. and not just the number of people but the PEOPLE themselves who showed up.
