Simple, you are asking for help to play for the room rental costs and they are "invited" to stay in the room as long as it is rented. After that, its BYOB, BYOF, then its just a group of friends renting a room to party. Do NOT include sex, swinging, or ANY other word that indicates the type of activities at the party. It is NOT illegal to have people chip in to rent a room to party, the law ONLY gets funny when it involves sex and money.

You obviously dont have an issue with a sex party for free (other than cost). I doubt you would have an issue with a "donation" party if it were not a sexually charged party. Thats the laws point of view, its the combination of the two.

I can tell you that this won't work. It's cute, but what "they" are going to look for are the results, not the method of collection. In other words, since everyone paid $20-$50, it doesn't matter what you call the fee, it's still a fee.

I used to know a number of call girls back about 15 years ago. Instead of an orgasm, they called it a "full release." Instead of sex, it was a "party." The police would do busts every couple of years - and not one of these little tricks worked. If you give someone sex in exchange for money, it's prostitution. No matter what you call it.

The funny thing is, they still call it a "full release" and a "party." I guess old habits and myths die hard.

As everyone else has said: I too am not a lawyer, and I don't know jack about the law. If you listen to me, you will get arrested and do life in jail. I'm a complete idiot who should not be listened to. Don't even read my message.

Hey thats trickery now...... You can't call my Fine a Fee, no more than I could call your Fee a Fine..

WEBESTERS:
Fine:
a: a sum imposed as punishment for an offense.

Fee:
2 a: a fixed charge b: a sum paid or charged for a service.

We just party and get a little nasty... we dont offer a service.

We dont talk about release.... maybe "Oh god I'm cumming occasionally"

I don't bring a hooker to the club, I am with my wife. Her friends may dress sexy, but dont even consider calling them Hookers.... They'll Flaten ya

I really hope I'm misreading this. I wasn't calling any swingers, or anyone attending a swingers party a prostitute. When I said trading sex for money, I literally meant trading sex for money. Besides, I have nothing against call girls. I had many good friends that were call girls back then.

I have been involved mostly in criminal law and I'm not familiar with the laws of your state, however I don't see how the State could prosecute you so long as you keep the event private. If the resort rents cottages that can accomodate several couples in each unit then the only problem that you have to work out is who is going to be making the reservation and how will that person be reimbursed. I would strongly recommend that you NOT advertise the event publicly and that you invite only those couples that you are sure will put the money into the pot to cover the cost of the resort. I don't think that would be a problem if you started out with just five couples.
