Well, the owner has been so happy with what he calls a rejuvenation of the club that he wants us to throw a meet and greet type gathering there every other week. When the club first openedi, it was open every week, charged 30 bucks. It got a good amount of people there on a regular. That's of course before the "bad" crowd came in and pretty much ruined things. IN any case we're mulling over the idea. We don't mind throwing a party and doing it up every other month but the idea of a responsilbility every other week is something different. What we don't want to do is have a meet and greet like 5 or 6 different other clubs. We'd like to do something different than the club, heavy drinking and heavy dancing scene. So we're thinking of a couple of ideas and wanted to ask the national swinger community if something like this would be interesting on a bi-monthly basis. First, the place is an on-premise club, but the idea is to have a very sexy but low pressure environment at the meet and greets. The club has a small game room with a pool table and some darts. We have a small collection of swinger games. What we're thinking of is throwing a meet and greet pool and game naughty game night. Instead of a dj, we have a pretty nice stereo setup with some very sexy yet low key music. The dance floor will be available and the environment will focus on socializing and getting to know people. We'd start a new game at table every 1/2 hour, so every body has the chance to play and provide little sexy raffle tickets to winners. We'd have tables set up with the naughty games, strip poker and whatever else they wish. Charge 10 bucks a person and provide a door prize to the couple who gets the most tickets. We'd also have veggie and fruit trays, water and some mixers. Would this be something that would interest you? What type of suggestions would you have for us? |

Except for the games, those have never been very well received at our local clubs. I do have a question though. If what you are doing is working, why don't the club owners do it that way every night?

Personally, for me if it was on a Friday or Saturday night, I'd enjoy the games/socializing for about the first hour or so, then I'd be bored, wanting to dance and get to the playing part of the evening...but that's just me. A serious question or two. Who was the bad crowd and how did they ruin it?

His reasoning is understandable. Essentiall he has a great bulding that is only being used once every two months that is an ideal swinger haven. Unfortunately he still has to pay taxes on the building and without a steady supply of income he's thinking about selling it. Quote:
He allowed an up and coming group of newbies to come to the club. They intern invited a lot of people who did not have interest in the lifestyle just wanted to watch live sex. Before they came, he had a sponsorship only policy. vYou had to be sponsored by a couple to come. The problem is is that the group sponsored anyone who came to their bar meet and greets , which was open to the public. Over a course of six months a lot of the regular couples stopped coming, and the club began to be solely supported by the new crowd. He finally just shut the club down. It wasn't until a february that he allowed us to start having private parties.
