Also, she is about to be 25 and he is 38, another major difficulty for us, as a lot of younger women are turned off by age alone, (they have no clue of what their missing!!) We would like to hold a semi-small party, no more than 10 guests- excluding us, but don't know how to go about this!!! Of course it would be at a very nice hotel and refreshments would be served, tips for that are welcome as well! How can we screen those who express an interest???? |

If you don't have time or inclination to do that, then I would suggest at least talking to them on the phone. Keep in mind that a good 30-50% of people who sign up for parties don't show up, so if you want 10 couples you may want to actually invite 15-20 couples. Also, keep in mind that if you are doing this at a hotel, the bill is in your name so you are taking on the responsibility for a lot of basically strangers. What I would do if I were you is start a little slower and work towards building a small group of friends (which from the sounds of it is what you really want anyway) by maybe putting together a swingers dinner club in your area (you can set up a group for this on Swing Lifestyle, invite people to join that and join you for dinner. This would allow you to meet many couples at once and then work from there. Once you've met them you can determine if they are a good fit for your more "private" group that you want to establish and after a while you will have a decent sized group of friends that you can feel comfortable inviting to a party. |
