Question Clothing at Swinger Clubs

Hello All

This question is for the ones that have been to swinger clubs. what exactly do people wear there, I’m sure it is something sexy, but the details that I need to know is; do you bring the sexy clothes and changes there, or its already underneath regular clothes that will come off when it is time to play

Default Re: Clothing

Dress to impress is the typical guideline you'll hear a lot. And there is a lot of truth to that.

That being said, the last club we went to was on a Mardi gras theme night, but an extraordinary amount of people were wearing blue jeans. To me, that is dressing down but perhaps it was because Mardi Gras could be considered a street clothes type thing.

Another club I went to wasn't the type of place you'd wear blue jeans to.

To be safe I'd dress nicer. As for "play clothing" some people change at the club and some just wear there stuff to the club. We've always simply worn our stuff to the club and hurried across the parking lots.

And as far as play clothing goes, I've seen all kinds of that as well. I've even seen people wearing next to nothing on the dance floor.

I know, I am not very helpful. But then again, my wife picks out my outfits.

When MrVan and I went to our very first club I was way overdressed. However as times have changed I now wear very skimpy outfits but sexy outfits. I will sometimes wear a corset and a mini skirt. There are other times where I will wear something for the theme of the evening.

What I would suggest is to find out if the club is having a theme night and if they are try to wear something for that. Other than that, just dress to impress as they say.

And MrTruelove,

There is nothing wrong with wearing almost absolutely nothing on the dance floor as I tend to do that often by the end of the evening.

Thank you all for replying i now have a better idea, basically bottown line dress to impress, jeans should be last on the list, but not do not over dress.

Thanks again

Default New to clubs

We are looking at going to a club for the first time and don't know what to expect or even what to wear. I would love to see her wear bra and panties with heels and nothing else other than a long coat. Is this something unusual? We don't think that we want to play with other people the first time out but would possibly like to have sex with each other while letting others watch. We are somewhat concerned about cleanliness as well.

Hello XXX funseekers,

The club enviorment usally allows all sorts of varied dress. Its best to take a variety of things to change into. Mrs. Fun Usally takes,well...... Lugage.

If you are not interested in playing the first time there. I dont know about bra and panties, Your wife should feel comfortable what she chooses to wear but, this might bring on unwanted advances if you are not wanting to hook up the first time in.

Do some checking with the search feature and see what ya think before hand. Most clubs we have been to have a private changing area, the temprature varies from cold to hot. Its winter here in our area, I like the idea of bra and panties under an over coat. But for now we are dressing like nanook of the north on the way to the club.

I love that thought and is one of my fantasies!

Do check on the dress code for the club, and think about how you'd feel if you were in an auto accident on the way to the club with only bra/panties on.

I'd recommend a slip over dress that's easy to remove on the way, and then take it off once you arrive.

Sounds like you're in for a fun night!

It's going to depend a lot on the club and where it is held. Most clubs you are going to want to wear acceptable street clothes at least until you get inside then once you are in you can wear pretty much whatever you want UNLESS....

if it is an off-premise social at a hotel you'll probably need to stay in clothing that is acceptable to the public. Unfortunately, most of the time with these socials you have to walk out of the social room and into public areas to visit the rest-rooms. Just check with your club and find out what is acceptable.

Sorry for resurrecting a dead thread...but...what do you mean by "overdressed"...hubby and I are going to our first club; I went shopping for a new dress and am just wondering what you consider overdressed (would hate to make the same mistake).

I, as a bi-fem, usually wear a short skirt and a blouse that has buttons down it for easy access. Sexy? Yes, but also something I could wear in the summer around here with it buttoned and no one would notice. Hopefully, the specifics will help you. No sequins, boas, etc. unless it's NYE or a costume party.

By the way, we usually assume women in pants either aren't interested in playing that night or are straight....world, are we correct?

I'm interested in hearing what people have to say about this.

I would guess that you are on-premise clubers and this may be an assumption by those who attend only on-premise clubs. I can see where it would be easier to get down to sex anywhere in a club when you don't have to take anything off...like a pair of slacks or jeans. Is this the reasoning behind your statement?

We don't have on-premise clubs around here so making the quick switch to sex isn't even possible...you have to leave the club and travel to a hotel or someone's home to play.

Plenty of women at our local clubs wear slacks, mainly a pair of tight jeans and a sexy top, myself included. I get lots of compliments on how I look in jeans and I love wearing them! So you'll see me in them quite often. My choice to wear them has nothing to do with my interest - or lack - in playing.

I have no idea if more bisexual women choose to wear skirts rather than slacks. I've worn dresses and skirts enough times to know that it makes no difference in whether women seem attracted to me. I'm bi-curious and not bisexual so I think the vibe I send out has more to do with being approached than what I wear.

As long as you don't look like you're headed to a Whitehouse dinner, you'll be fine.

I think being dressed up, especially moreso than the majority of club patrons, can be a plus...you'll be a stand out and catch people's eye.

It's been said before and is very true, as long as you are comfortable in what you have selected to wear and feel sexy in it, it will be perfect for YOU...and that's all that matters.

Jeans are pretty common at most of the clubs that I've been to for both the guys and the ladies, what you wear with them determines the dress up or dress down factor. Local socials we tend to see more jeans and (litterally) t-shirts, whereas the on-premise club we go to doesn't allow t-shirts or tennis shoes.

The social we went to most recently we almost felt overdressed with him in a nice shirt and jeans and me in a sexy corset style top and jeans. (And by over I don't mean too many clothes just too nice).

When/If I wear jeans to the club I wear them with a skimpy top usually (dress up your assetts). As I've gotten more comfortable at the club I tend to wear jeans in with a top that will double as a dress (albeit a short one) once I take the jeans off. I do typically take at least one change of clothes just in case I decide I want to do something different or my original outfit doesn't feel comfortable for some reason. HOwever, since I started trying to wear double duty tops I've found that I change clothes a lot less often.

Once you get inside I've seen ladies in anything from nice dresses (not talking formal but nice) down to nothing at all and everything in between (from lingerie to just really skimpy clubwear). Guys typically pants (or jeans) and a nice shirt.

If the party has a theme I usually see about half (if that) dressed to theme (a much lower % of the guys).

We've seen it all. From sequined shirts to sweat pants. I'd say, wear what makes you feel sexy. If that's a fishnet body stocking, a tight black dress or 80's running shorts then so be it.

Personally, we dress in what we feel is business sexy. He wears slacks and a nice/fashionable button up shirt (usually black).
Me, I wear the naughty stock broker/librarian look (always black... it's just my color). Think really short pin striped skirt with a tight vest as a top. I could easily wear it to a vanilla event (might get a few looks but I'm into that so who cares).

I have a floor length "stripper" robe that I wear if I want to get out of my other clothes but not walk around naked.

Funny enough we went to a party where the hosts suggested everyone "dress up". For the life of me I couldn't figure that out because for me the next step would be naughty formal. Of course I wore the formal with a few extra feet of split up the sides. Apparently they just didn't want people wearing jeans. Oh well, I still felt like Jessica Rabbit and enjoyed every second of it because "I" felt hot!

In the end, it's about what you feel good in (and out of)

LikeMinds,

You're correct. We frequent on-premise clubs. But I'm not certain that wearing pants is a speed thing. We take it more as a "hands-off" message...the few times I've danced with women wearing pants, it hasn't gone anywhere. Never had that problem with men in pants though!!!

Coincidence? Or a subtle message?
