Cool Questions about all-inclusive vacation resorts

Just starting out in the Lifestyle I have been reading all kinds of literature, and I have started doing research on vacation destinations that would be a lot of fun for us. I have been reading The Naked Truth About Hedonism II; A totally unauthorized, naughty but nice guide to Jamaica's very adult resort and I have to say that I am facinated! I would jump on a plane tomorrow if I could. I do have some questions though for anyone who has been there before.

1. Can you have a good time if you do not drink alcohol? I drink, but hubby does not, and I was wondering if anyone had any insight into this situation.

2. When is the best time of year to go?

3. Does your vacation have to be a week long to enjoy it fully, or can you go for a shorter number of days? (There are weekly activities, and I was not sure if only being there for part of it was worth it.)

4. Is the nude hot tub.....hmmm, clean? Sanitary? I understand some pretty wild activities occur in this famous tub of love so I was just wondering how/if they keep it clean.

5. Where do you tell the vanilla people you are going? Especially the grandparent's left behind to watch the kids - they will want telephone numbers and hotel information.

I understand that there are certain Lifestyle weeks at the resort in January. Anyone ever been? I would love to hear about it. Also, if anyone knows of any other couple's resorts that are naked friendly, I would love to hear about them.

Thanks!

Arrival5 my wife and I are going to Hedo 3 the first week in June. 1st timers ourselves.
We to have had some of the questions you asked, so I'll try to help with what i've learned through our research.
1. Goodtimes are to be had by one and all, weather you are a fun person or not will determine weather or not you have fun not the amount of alcohol.
2. Anytime is a goodtime to go. However, it seems alot tend to go over fall, winter, early spring.
3. Week is good, weekenders are fine too, mid-weeks, whatever you want... we will be going for 4 nights and 5 days, for the same money we could've went 7 nights and 8 days but our schedules only allow us to do so much. It's a vacation from reality, just enjoy it.
4. Makes me wonder if mine is, hmmm.... Yeah the water is CLEAN. With the filtration, chemicals and the fact that it seats 50 or so at a time. Wonder then if the pools are clean or the showers or the grotto's or heck as far as that goes the furniture?
5.As far as telling Vanilla friends/family where your going, try Montego Bay or Ocho Rio's, and then explain to them probably best to use cell for calls as you may not be able to get thru any other methods.

As to where we got our info you can try www.cyberhedo.com or do a google search for Denny P's and either one will give you a wealth of info.
Take a look at www.hedoiiimadness.com also.

Pee Wee doesn't drink doesn't slow down his enjoyment.

2. When is the best time of year to go?

Spring break is out unless you are into drunk collage boys. We enjoy the winter months most, its nice to be in a warm place when it is cold at home.

3. Does your vacation have to be a week long to enjoy it fully, or can you go for a shorter number of days? (There are weekly activities, and I was not sure if only being there for part of it was worth it.)

We prefer 3 or 4 days, a full week is hard to recover from.

4. Is the nude hot tub.....hmmm, clean? Sanitary? I understand some pretty wild activities occur in this famous tub of love so I was just wondering how/if they keep it clean.

We've never heard anyone refer to the Hedo hot tub as clean.

5. Where do you tell the vanilla people you are going? Especially the grandparent's left behind to watch the kids - they will want telephone numbers and hotel information.

A Superclubs resort in Negril Jam. Superclubs operates the hedo resorts as well as Sandels, Beaches, Grand Lido, and Couples.

I understand that there are certain Lifestyle weeks at the resort in January. Anyone ever been? I would love to hear about it. Also, if anyone knows of any other couple's resorts that are naked friendly, I would love to hear about them.
Thanks!
Lifestyles Month of January is not for the faint of heart.
Desires in Cancun Mexico is couples only (the hot tub is clean too )

Hedo is great for anyone new to the lifestyles. we were new last year and went during the july 4th lifestyles week. meet some great people and had a couple of incounters. going back this year and hoping for more fun. don't believe everything you read in that book, the author spins some wild tales that are a bit over done. the tub is very clean and you can smell the chlorine it is that strong. most people play in the pool/tub and then take it somewhere else to finish it off. everyone is very respectful of eachother and no one is an out and out "pig". we tell everyone we are going to either Grand Lido or Couples and tell them we'll call due to the costs involved. It is a great place for adults to play and we can't wait to get back in July. If you drink and the hubby doesn't then you'll get your monies worth and he'll have to eat or use the activities more. but for the buck, it is a great deal

enjoy

Al

1) Just like any other place, it's up to hubby whether he has a good time.
2) Tomorrow!! Seriously, we've gone in June every year and it seems to us that the crowd is slightly younger than the median age of Hedo guests and the resort is not really full. Friends of ours went in February and felt that there were more aggressive swingers there at that time than in the laid-back summer. There are high occupancy times in October and November wher I think things get wild like the examples in the book.
3) The first year we went we only stayed 5 days. It was WWAAAYYY too short. With traveling, you pretty much lose a day there, then by the time you get used to things, you're going home.
4) There's been much discussion on this, but it's pretty safe to say that the Hedo hottub is cleaner than most people's hottubs in their backyard. Most of what makes scum on the top is sunblock lotion, spilled drinks, etc. Besides, certain body fluids are heavier than water, so splooge sinks to the bottom. The tub is cleaned twice a day and has so much chlorine in it, it'd probably kill anything.
5) We tell people we're going to Jamaica. Negril to be exact. It's a Superclubs resort.... Unless they've been, they wouldn't really know enough to ask which one, etc. If they will want information for calling, do you have a cell phone through a major cell carrier? You can tell them that they can call you at that number in case of an emergency. Or, you could give them the name of another resort and the right phone number. I doubt, if it's an emergency, that theyll be listening too hard...or, you could say all the Superclub switchboards plug into the Hedo switchboard. Or, you could just tell people where you're going. Just because you go there doesn't mean you're a swinger. See, I can even say that with a straight face now because I've said it so much .

Desire is an all-inclusive resort in Mexico, and a lot of people seem to like it too. Hedo has singles, whereas you must come as a couple at Desire.

Either Hedo II or III will be a vacation you'll never forget. They have the highest repeat clientel in the carribbean for a reason.

I'm sure hubby will have a good time even though he doesn't drink.....probably be able to remember more of the trip

Tammy and I like the winter....gives us a break from the winter blues

A week is the minimum for us. If you stay for 3 or 4 days, believe us....you will wish you booked more

The nude hottub is reasonably clean. No worries unless you have open cuts .....or like Tammy....a knee abrasion kept her out

We tell everyone that asks where we're going.....Hedonism. Even our folks, as they watched our kids one time we were there Tammy proudly wears her Hedo ball cap.

Our last time was at Hedo III this past January. The lifestyle groups were there and the excitement was at quite a high level

You can't go wrong in visiting either Hedo. Check out DennyP's site for the best info,

Brett and Tammy
