The Perfect Club...

Okay all, those that have been to an on premise club and those that havent, if I had a magic wand what is the one most important thing that would bring you back again and again? Would it be the name (I am thinking "Love Shack here) The decor, the people allowed in, etc...? Lets see what we can come up with, the perfect club.

Cleanliness would be at the top of my list.

And a "Cheers" type of mentality.

Sometimes you want to go, where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came....

Great topic, Starlinn! I'd have to say atmosphere counts for a lot- and that includes, lighting, decor, fresh air, etc. We like to be able to move around freely, be able to see where we're going, breathe without wrinkling our nose, things like that, lol. Like Ves said, cleanliness is important. Also, a welcoming host and/or hostess makes us want to return again.

I agree. Atmosphere can set my mood the moment I walk in the door.

I particularly love what good lighting can do for peoples' skin, hair, eyes, and clothes.

We are more inclined to go to a vanilla bar with great atmosphere than attend an off-premise club where the once-a-month meet is held at a hotel ballroom.

Amen to that! Atmosphere is everything. Without that they have nothing.

Of course a clean potty room goes a long way too

How could I forget!

I am so into well-designed, clean restrooms. There are so few around. Walk into a good one and the ladies hang around there a little longer and talk to each other - great place to begin a pick-up with a single fem or couple.

And when the lighting is good while you apply your lipstick or fix your hair, you feel all the better about going back out to have more fun at the bar.

Smoke free would be nice - the club we visit in Philly can get a little "thick".
I guess you know Im a non-smoker....lol

We have been to clubs in a few states all the way across the country.

We have found that the Atmosphere, building, layout, food, music don't really matter when the night is said and done.

It is the PEOPLE that go to the club that make the one and only real difference.

I saw some great places in Florida. The regulars there totally ruined the experiece for the "others" that went there.

There is many people that don't like the club we party at. Old, 60's looking and allows singles into it. The people there area GREAT! They make the party.

We have found the same holds true for parties we have hosted in Suites at hotels. Very large parties. 300 to 500 people each night. We have held them in top of the line suites and ghetto suites. (I like the ghetto suites

)

It is always about the people.
