Our first Time

My husband and I have been married for 25 years and things had become stale between us. That was, until we visited The Mountain Retreat on a recent weekend. With the kids away on their own, we found ourselves as a couple again after so many years as ‘Mom & Dad’. We wanted to seek out more adult activities, but had no idea where to look or how to get involved. He was eager and excited while I was apprehensive.

One evening he was ‘prowling’ on the computer when he found your website. It looked so lovely that we were both consumed with curiosity. When we saw that it really wasn’t far away, we decided to take the plunge, and we are very happy that we did! We made a reservation and were absolutely giddy about it, especially when we didn’t have to pay membership and other fees just to look the place over! We had actually done something ADULT already!

The whole way there we were as nervous as cats. He must have asked me 10 times if I wanted to turn back. I think HE was more nervous about it than I was. But once we were there, we were immediately impressed with the beauty of the place. High on a hill, the view was breath-taking! Then we saw the huge outdoor pool. Several couples were already swimming. They were nude, but it seemed so natural and so relaxed. We were greeted on the patio by the hosts who cheerfully showed us around, pausing to introduce us to some of the regulars. I don’t know what we had expected, but these were REAL people! I guess we had thought that swingers would be wild-eyed and foaming at the mouth or something, but it was a nice surprise to meet average people like us. They were friendly and warm and made us feel very comfortable.

The club facilities are beautiful! The large bar and buffet area is a natural gathering place and the room rang with laughter. The hot tub, dance floor, and massage area were just the kind of adult “play room” that we had hoped for. Then when we went upstairs and saw the REAL “play rooms”, we looked at each other with a sparkle I hadn’t felt or seen for years! Our visit was rapidly becoming an adventure!

When we had completed our tour, we nervously sat down at the bar between two other couples. We fully expected to be ignored as outsiders, but to our surprise, the conversation started almost immediately. It wasn’t long before I remarked about the pool and how inviting it looked. That was all it took to get three couples into the change room, stripped, and wrapped in towels. I had NEVER been nude with other couples before, but suddenly it was so relaxed and comfortable that my fears just vanished. We walked outdoors and slid into the cool water without missing a word of the conversation. We all chatted about families and jobs and children and other ordinary things until the conversation became decidedly more adult. We discussed swinging with one of the couples who were a wealth of information. The third couple had been talking to others and gradually drifted away. Our new friends answered our questions in an honest and unintimidating manner. We got the impression that they had been the ‘new people’ not too long ago. We felt very comfortable with them. Although I enjoyed talking with her, I began to notice how attractive her husband was. Such feelings were disturbing for me, but I actually welcomed them. I felt so ALIVE, so excited! I hadn’t felt this way for years. A glance at my husband confirmed similar feelings in him. When the other couple moved toward us and the conversation became more intimate, I felt like a teenager before her first kiss. Before long I was BURNING with excitement! Feelings of desire flooded through me! I don’t even remember making our way upstairs, but suddenly there we were in a clean, private room and I was in another man’s arms. My husband lay next to me with another woman. It was all so strange…so shocking…so unlike us, yet there we were. And it was AMAZING! I felt lust and passion that I had forgotten could exist within me! It was almost like someone else had taken control of me and was making me do things that I never dreamed of doing! It was as if my life had been struck by lightning, and I was loving it!

Later, when we came out of the room, there was a group of people in the public area. I had never thought of myself as a voyeur, in fact I can’t STAND those adult movies, but this was SO different! We sat at the upstairs bar and watched other people having sex. Their actions, their sounds; it fascinated me more than I could ever have imagined. When we moved downstairs and enjoyed a drink in the hot tub with several other couples, the images and the sounds from upstairs seemed to haunt me. Our new friends and recent lovers now introduced us to the other couples. As we all talked, it struck me how much like us these other people were. We shared SO many life experiences and now I found that we shared a passion for fun, exciting sex. In 25 years of marriage I can only recall a handful of times when my husband and I had sex more than once in a day. Yet before we knew it, we were headed back upstairs with a different couple. I didn’t even think my husband was still capable of having sex twice in an evening, yet he cheerfully led the way up the steps.

Well before I write a book here, let me just say that our visit to the Mountain Retreat was exhilarating, exciting, memorable, even life-changing for us. The next morning my husband and I had sex like newlyweds with a passion we haven’t felt for years. The Mountain Retreat has been the portal to a journey of discovery for us as a couple. We will be back as often as we can.

Check under the club listings on this site. It's in Pennsylvania. I believe it is near Pittsburgh (working from memory, I'm too lazy at the moment to go look it up.
