YMMV You can always go back and delete your old review then post a new one. The reason we only allow one per user/per club is to keep users from padding a clubs rating... but we do want people to be able to change their review should the club (or their opinion) change. | |

That said, I have to reply to this thread overall now, as my own opinion has changed somewhat since I've been back in clubs more myself. There are three things that affect your overall club experience.... Your expectations The people The club itself You can only control one of these. And while some clubs the crowd may change from night to night or even week to week, others that may not be the case. If 90% of the people at the club are of a type or attitude completely different than your own, chances are it's going to be that way the next time. If the club setup is something that just doesn't float your boat, that's not going to change either. That said, all you really can do is give every club a chance and make sure that you go with no expectations, you never know how it may turn out. There have been 2 clubs so far that we have checked out that we would not give a second chance. In one case it was the people, and in another case it was the club AND the people. And when I say the people I mean looking around you find neither the physical qualities or the general attitudes attractive. If you go to a club and you don't feel there is enough action going on, then that's not really the people, it's just the night.. you can have the exact same group of people (as evidenced by anyone who's ever attended house parties) and one time it can be wild from minute one and the next it may feel like things are never going to start). |
