What do guys wear?

Hello everyone!

We are going to an off premise club tomorrow night and I have a hard time deciding what to wear. There's no theme. I have club wear for regular night clubs. When I wear these type of club wear at off premise clubs, I feel overdressed in comparison to the other guys.

I like to know from the perspective of the gals, what you find sexy and erotic clothes in a man. For example, I find the clothes in Victoria's Secret and Frederick very sexy and erotic which my wife wears. For man there is no similar catalogs for dressing hot and erotic for the ladies. I most of the time get compliments at work and home for dressing nice.

I would be greateful if you all can help me out on what turns the ladies on in terms of a man's clothes. I think ladies have an easier selection than man does to turn us on.

By the way I read past threads and it appears that guys have only to dress casual slacks and a nice shirt. I'm not satisfied with that.

I will have to honestly say that a man in a pair of pants like Dockers, which fit nicely and a coordinated nice shirt are a real turn on for me. The biggest turn on for me though is the belt. I like to see a nice belt on a man, for me it sets off the whole appearance, maybe it's because I'll be wanting to see it closer up....

Ok, for me sexy on a man depends. If you are the average, everyday guy going to a swing club with his wife, then give me nicely fitted slacks and a banded-collar shirt anyday.

If you are into B&D, well that is something else altogether. Mmmmm...leather chaps and leather vest.

Or, if you really want to try something different, dress up like a Chippendales dancer. You know, tux pants, bow tie and cuffs. Yow!

At the last party my husband and I attended, he wore vinyl pants and a mesh shirt. He had a lot of ladies come up to him (after I wasn't around lol) and touch the shirt to see what material it was made of. Bad girls.

Just dress comfortably. Clean and neat are always a turn on.

I prefer the dockers style of pants on men. They seem to compliment most men and look great from behind. I would suggest a golf/polo style shirt to go with it. A casual but smart combination in my book.

Turn ons for women are so different than men. I think there are 2 things that are important when I look at a man. I want a man that knows how to dress. Nice clothes are good. And shoes. I'm a shoe freak. If your shoes look like you've worn them every day for the last year, a lot of women will notice.

Oh yeah love the belt thing. I'm just thinking about what to do with it once I get it off.

That is how I see it too. I guess I am a below the belt woman! LOL ....I love the way a nicely fitted pair of Dockers compliment the male's behind. You can tell a lot about a guy in those. Everytime my husband dons a pair and he turns around, I just melt. I do it with the other guys too. Now they can't be tight or anything, I mean nicely fitting. This applies to all sizes of men. Then when they turn forward to face you and have a nice belt with a shiny buckle of some sort, It just says "I am one hot dude" to me. Oh, goodness Northern Star....did you have to bring this subject up....

I know this is going to date me, but many moons ago when I used to follow the soap operas on "As The World Turns" there was an actor who portrayed Grant Coleman (yeah I know it was twenty some odd years ago...but hey I can still remember his stage name). He brought all new meaning to a three piece suit. Just thinking about him stirs me up. YOWSER! Ooo la la and any other descriptive word which means the hubby is getting lucky tonight! You are right again. There's something about a man in a well fitted 3 piece suit that can get the motor racing. And a tux always works. The first time my now husband and I went out for NYE, he wore a tux. I could hardly stand it. He looked so good.

I guess basically just be sure whatever you wear fits you well and is neat and clean. Be confident and it'll show.

Geesh, I was having a hard time getting past the knees on this one! Doggone belts!

Shoes are definitely a part of the outfit. Hiking boots, Nike's and worn out shoes definitely take all of the sex appeal out of the picture, no nice belt will offset it.

Nice casual to dressy shoes (None of that shiny stuff for me though) completes the outfit!

Oh, my it is too early in the day to get this started. No wonder the husband is in hiding.

Many years ago, I had to wear a suit to work every day. Something about that turns J on (maybe I can get her to comment.) Let's just say that there were some mornings that I was a little late to work... It's nice to know that the Dockers we all wear now can have the same effect.
