Birthday SUCKED...and not in a good way!

As many of you recall my inner slut was being liberated on my birthday last Sunday the 8th and I was so looking forward to it.......Well long story short Hubby started getting sick friday night and continued thru Sunday so we had to cancel our adventure. Wound up in the er and they admitted him for pancreatitus which can be very dangerous and takes a while to get over.

We are actually supposed to be leaving today for Gulf shores for our sons wedding Thursday and don't have a clue if he is going to be able to go. So thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.

OH any BTW does he really own me big time! LOL

I am so sorry to hear of your cancellation. We both understand how frustrating that can be. No matter what, his health and well being is top priority. Once he is better and capable of play, make him pay for messing up your plans!

So sorry to hear the plans got busted, and moreso about the pancreatitis. I had a friend back in HS who came down w/an acute case of it, and by the time they got him to the hospital, it was too late and he died about a week later of some respiratory thing. That was a long time ago, but the memory still haunts me to this day.

My thoughts and prayers to you are yours.

I'm so sorry to hear that! Depending on what's causing the pancreatitis will depend on how quickly he recovers. I hope you both can make it to the wedding, we got married in Gulf Shores on the beach a year and a half ago and I loved it! Hopefully you'll later have belated birthday fun when he gets better and you get back.

My mom just got out of the hospital about 5 weeks ago for the same thing. They blamed it on sludge or something like that and they are debating if they are going to take out the gall bladder.

The only thing I know is that it was the worst thing she said she has ever been through.

Hope he gets feeling better soon!

When we first started swinging it did not occur to us how much physical issues would get in the way of play time. Yours seems much more serious than the usual ones, but colds, sore throats, yeast infections, period cramps, etc all pop up at the most inopportune time!

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. He is doing better, ate some jello this evening and held it down. The dr.s are really trying to help us make the wedding. I'm hoping he will be discharged tomorrow. We will take it as easy as possible, enjoy the wedding and head back home for him to continue his recovery.
