She's in Las Vegas with some people she knows...

Due to how schedules would work out after factoring in our child, F went to Las Vegas without me this weekend for an non-swinger event. I get a call yesterday afternoon saying "hi" and we talk about random topics. Then she says, "oh, I can't talk now, but there might be something going on tomorrow (Saturday) night. I'll call you later." My mind starts wandering quickly, but I'm left in suspense for 3 or 4 hours.

A little while after I get the kid in bed, she finally calls back and says that she was talking with one of the guys she knows (associated with the reason that she's in Vegas). He lives there, and at some point happened to pull out his phone to look up something. F looked over his shoulder and noticed that he has a pic of a hot chick tied up (sorry, she didn't describe it much more than that) on his phone. She stops him and asks about it. He responds "oh, that's my wife. We're swingers." She said she smiled and gave some sort of non-judgemental reply, but didn't say anything about us. Anyway, she has a grand plan of approaching him and/or his wife tonight (she flies back tomorrow). I got hard instantly.

You've got to admit - he has a great ice breaker there!

We'll see what transpires here...

Good luck to both of you.

We personally make it a point to NEVER party with people we do business with.

Our businesses are worth more than a few cheap thrills to us.

Thanks for the concern guys... and we agree completely. The wording in the original post is intentially vague - probably more than it needs to be, but I'll just leave it. There is no danger here.

Minor update: F just called and said that thankfully he brought his woman to the reception and she got to talk to each of them before they got split up for a while. She said the lady is smoking in person, so she has high hopes... hopefully they don't get dashed (for any number of reasons that these kinds might fall through).

I should have added... associations outside of work... now that's not always a bad thing... some of those I ride motorcycles with are lifestyle friends.

I always use a similar saying. Instead of dinner associations; we simply refrain from "Dipping our pen in the company ink." Sadly though, I can't always be trusted to take my own advice. But Kudos on the new prospect. I hope it works out for all 4 of you.
