Serendipity: When a couple you like contacts you first?

Serendipity, or something good happening accidentally or by chance...

Twice it's happened where I've had a couple on our wish list and initial contact was initiated not by us. The people on the list do not know they are on our list.

I typically add people to our wish list as a bookmark to contact them later. There's a few reasons why I don't immediately contact them..1) profile reads nice but public pictures are missing the guy half, 2) Show the profile to the boss (female half of course) 3) we're busy for the next several weeks and don't want to initiate contact just to say sorry we're busy for awhile. Usually I don't check the list that often.

The first time, we had met a couple at a house party and clicked with them pretty well. The wife looked familiar, but I could not place it. I don't go through my wish list that often, but going out with this couple not long after the party, I found them on the list.

The second time was recent. We were contacted by a couple on Swing Lifestyle and I liked the profile and wife and I replied back that we would love to meet. Not long after that I was going through my wish list (on APG) and spotted a picture that looked familiar. Sure enough it was the couple that contacted us.

I'm curious about other's experience like this.
