This thread is for those times when you are out and about and for whatever reason, Just Walked Away....

We were hanging out our local club and this couple walked in and immediately took over and had to tell us and anyone within listening distance, everything they owned, everywhere they have been, how much money they have spent,

and we Just Walked Away....

How pretentious!!

Truthfully, we woulda done the same thing. We don't measure friends or playmates by what they own, what they do or who they've done! LOL

I'm not perfect by any means and Elaine will tell you that!!

But I have seen that happen a couple of times with other people.

We met up with a couple for drinks to see how we all got along; they ran down a laundry list of people they'd met (with names as was discussed in another thread here today) which was bad enough and would have been all we needed to send us running for the hills, but then the woman exclaimed:

"I don't fluff"

And she went on to talk about how she won't go near a guy who doesn't have an erection and if a guy didn't get hard just looking at her and at the thought of fucking her that she wasn't interested.

so we just walked away

These are the kind of people that send us running for the hills.

Just be yourself... Of course, if "yourself" is an overbearing, loud mouth, boastful, pretentious prick, be prepared for a nice view of my ass - as we walk away.

OMG - the " I don't fluff" comment reminds me of Couple #2 (see the Kissers & Tellers post)

Yeah, Katrina and I couldn't believe what we heard. Katrina actually questioned her on it to be sure that she had heard correctly. At which point she explained the "i don't fluff" comment and Katrina and I looked at each other totally baffled lol. We didn't stick around for too much longer and were glad that we found out that kind of attitude over drinks and not while we were all naked!

I was at a strip club on a Friday, so it was rather packed. I was at a booth by myself waiting for my favorite dancer to get off stage (we went to poetry readings and coffee shops together a couple of times a month) and a waitress asked if I could move to the bar because two couples came in and wanted a booth. They said I could stay and they moved into the booth with me. My friend came and the six of us talked for about an hour, then one of the women asked if we wanted to join them at their hotel later. My friend said she was not into the swinging thing and that we were just writing and music partners, not a couple. They turned to me and asked if I was interested. Something made me say no. Good thing. They got busted when a narcotics dog sniffed out their car while the police were investigating an unrelated break-in across the street.
