We finally got started!

Well, it finally happened. Sort of. Here's the story:

I travel a lot, and a lot of the time I'm with friends/co-workers. When one of us calls our wives and ends the call with "I love you" we all chime in with it also. We even joke around about calling each others' wives on occasion.
A few weeks ago I got double booked and asked a friend to fill in for me. He agreed and everything was fine. Until I got un-booked. I called him and took back my first job, which was cool with him. Then I got re-booked. Crap! I called him again and set him up again with the job. To make the deal sweeter I told him he could stay at my house while I was out of town and he was in town. No, my wife won't mind, I assured him.
My wife and I had been discussing swinging for a long time but never really knew how to get started. We both wanted to do it, but didn't want to do a swingers club or on-line ads. So we were just biding our time, waiting on an opportunity.
When the time came I went on my trip but his got cancelled again. Bummer. I felt real bad now. Just kidding around I told him he could still stay at my house if he wanted, never thinking he actually would.
On Friday night he called and asked for my wife's phone number, saying he was going to call her. I thought he was joking so I gave it to him.
When I got back to my hotel I called my wife and talked to her for about an hour but never told her about his call because I thought he was kidding. He just wasn't the swinging type.
At 11:30 I went to bed and at about midnight I was awoken by my phone. My wife was shaken. He had called her and said he wanted to get with her and that I said it was OK. Man, was that awkward. I felt really bad. I apologized over and over and said I would call and straighten it out. I would explain to him that if we did swing that it would only be together. She said no, she would talk to him. She assured me it was OK. I gave her permission to handle the whole thing however she saw fit and to call me if necessary.
She called me the next day several times, feeling very uneasy about the whole thing. I tried to talk her out of it, but she wanted to go through with it. All she would do was talk to him. I assured her she could call me anytime she needed me.
She did. She called me at 9:30pm that night and I could hear the smile in her voice. He had come over and they talked. She was so comforted by everything that they ended up in our bedroom making out, then she gave him a blow job (she was on her period). They spent most of the day together and had a great time. And most of it didn't even involve sex.
Now I have a wife that is absolutely thrilled with everything. Her entire world has changed. She is more free and happier and is smiling all the time. It's like a heavy load has been lifted from her shoulders.
I spoke with her for several hours that night. I spoke with him the next day. He was as excited as she was. We plan on meeting in a few weeks and all three of us will be able to experience it again, and me for the first time.
This isn't how we planned it, but it's worked out perfectly.
The guy is a friend that I trust explicitly, and I trust my wife even more than that. After 30 years of marriage that's to be expected, I think. The weekend will be so great and I can't wait.
Wow. This may be the best times of my life.

Wow. You want to swing but don't want to try clubs or online ads. These days, that's like saying you'd like to try riding in a car, but don't want to sit in one to make it happen and are just biding your time until you can find a car you can ride in without riding in it.

I'm glad you found a third and hope it continues to go really well for you!

It's more complicated than just what we want. She works with the public a lot and is concerned that she/we could be spotted if we attended the clubs. Now that this experience has happened she's less concerned about it. Discretion is still a major roadblock and she wants all this to stay private.
How do you here handle the possibility of being 'outed' by others?

If you saw someone you knew (coworker, friend, relative...) at a swingers club, why are they there? For the same reason as you. So why be afraid? Chances are, they are just very discreet, and that would be the same approach you woud use. be discreet about who you see out and about at swingers clubs, and they will be discreet about seeing you.

We had our first MFM this past weekend and all three of us enjoyed it immensely. I always thought I would enjoy watching my wife pleasured by someone else and I far underestimated how much I would enjoy it. It was fabulous.
We plan on doing it again, over and over. A new life has begun.
