meet and greet not what we expected ?

we are new and got invited to a cpls house, they asked if we wanted to go to a meet & greet. we were wanting to do that so we said ok . we were expecting to just get a few names small talk and so on and then return to the cpls home we were meeting.well it was at a confrence type room at a holiday inn. all was cool then the host wanted to play some games .whip cream sunday type games they put plastic on the floor and guys ate sundays off the womens breast so im goin along with the flow and the cpl we were with kinda stayed together with us and we were into each other so its the ladies turn to make sundays on the males tools facelick . i had a really bad bruise on my leg from an accident so i didnt want to drop my drawrs in front of every one. so mrs fun is havin her good time when i noticed a guy with a cam corder. i started to get up and stop him because we had already disscussed this with each other. the woman i was with said ill take care of it she understood mrs fun did not want to be filmed. so he proceeds to film other cpls actions, so as she is walking back from explaining that to him towards me ,he sticks the cam right back on them. so now im up i told him in as cool as way that i could you dont film my wife without our permission so now he gets the point. everything was still goin on when i noticed other people (men and women )with cell phone cameras. we were nice and so was everyone there no drama. we left said some nice goodbyes and went back to our friends house for our fun. they said they had never seen anything like that at a meet and greet but they are all diffrent. has anyone ran into this type of thing? we just didnt expect that at our first meet.

Holy crap, batman! If that had been our first experience at a meet and greet, we would have turned-tail and run and never returned. At our socials, it's usually at a hotel banquet room, and there's dancing, talking and some games....but far more harmless, like the banana deep-throat game. I've never seen anybody taking pictures. I definitely would have addressed the problem with the host of the social and told them that we wouldn't be back if picture-taking was tolerated.

Sorry you had such an unnerving experience and know that all of them aren't that way.

Ouch! I definately wouldn't classify this as a meet& greet, This goes even beyond what would normally be classified as an off-premise social. I don't even know what to say beyond that. Just know that it wasn't your expectations that were off... it was the description of what you were invited to.

Thanks everyone for replys we have talked about this for a week now, we have a small group of friends that have said that never happens at meet and greets. mrs fun was glad that i had her back coverd on this but i felt like... well i didnt smash the camera. looking back now i should have asked to see the film or pics deleted personaly and still not have walked away being an ass to everyone its been a learning experiance. we think the host should have explained that some cameras might come out . we let them know that we were new and this was our first. we were tring to go with the flow as it was fun .we would do it again with all the same people that were there they made us feel really welcome ecept for the cam. so i thought that the board could help us out on this one. thanks

I think in any swinging situation your first responsibility is to the woman you're with. If politely asking somebody not to take pictures of her makes you an "ass" in their eyes, that's just tough shit for them.

It's entirely possible that you weren't the only one who was uncomfortable with people taking pictures. Maybe it was pissing off other people too, but they didn't say anything because like you, they were afraid of being labeled an "ass" as you put it.

I'm glad you stepped up. You might have cheesed the guy with the camera, but you probably made some real friends there too. I hope you guys go back...

Wow, you were a lot nicer than I think I would have been. If I caught someone taking pictures of us and he was lucky, I would have owned a new camera. If he didn't immediately see that as a desireable outcome, he would have had a hell of a time getting the various camera pieces removed from his ass. And if it ever came to that I wouldn't care who thought I was an asshole.

I wouldn't do it again with the same group. They obviously are okay with the camera phones and video taping and someone should have let everyone know that it was going to happen. I wouldn't care how "nice" they were.... I wouldn't trust them a second time. Sorry that's just me when it comes to my privacy.

well we are both 43 thanks, attractive thanks also , our swing experiance has been from net meetings . we will chalk this up to experiance we will still go to meet and greets and hope to see some clubs.will have no problem with showin my ass if need be. we will watch the rooms alot closer and keep each others backs. im a scorpio so its not over yet with the guy with the cam. i found him. contacted the cpls with the phone cams and they wernt in a possition to get any face shots any how.

I think some people are ok with pics and some aren't. Obviously these people are and since you aren't. I wouldn't go back. I gotta second all the others, you were in more self control than most and the asses were the ones photographing people without prior consent. Nowadays if somebody takes your pic it can be all over the net in seconds and pics are something that just isn't done unless everybody is in agreement before everything starts.
