We are both nervous and very excited at the same time. Any advice regarding what we can expect for our first go around? Is it more common to hook up with a couple? Also, if we are both in this together, isn't it important to be in the same room together? Thanks for any help. |

| Swingers Board Addict | I have no idea what to expect from a club, we haven't got to go to one yet. But about the same room thing, there are a few threads that we just recently talked about that on. I'm sure someone will put the link in here for you. Things got a little heated between some people on that thread. My hubby & me personally only play in the same room. But the conclusion of most of the people is that you & your wife need to decide what makes you comfortable. Don't let anyone talk you into doing something, decide for yourself. Many people play in separate rooms, they say that it is fun because you can connect with that one person. That you don't have an audience. I'm sure other people can answer that one better. The ones that only play in same rooms, do so because this is something we decided to do together, so we want to be together when we do it. We do it in the same room because we enjoy seeing our spouse enjoying thenselves, and because some of us like to play with our spouse also. Most people that play in separate rooms, play in the same room some of the time. The best advice I think I or anyone else can give you guys is to do whatever makes you the most comfortable! Have fun! |

Has anybody attended either place, and, if so, would you mind sharing your experiences? In addition, what go on at the lifestyle's conventions in Vegas? Thanks for the help? |

| Here to Stay | The convention can be as wild or as mild as you'd like it to be. We just got back from the Vegas one a few weeks ago and we had a great time. There were all shapes, ages, sizes and experience levels represented, so there was something for everyone. It was held at the Stardust, which may not be the cream of the Vegas hotels, but it was good enough and the staff didn't treat the lifestylers like social leppers. We'd do it again. As far as organized activities go, the main ones are dances at night, followed by a party at the pool. There were some bungalows by the pool that offered play rooms, which were a lot of fun and were filled with well-behaved people. They had seminars (I guess that's what you'd call them), which we blew off for slacker time at the pool. There was a room filled with vendors selling slutwear, toys, etc. as well. People also had private get-togethers, which were independent from the sanctioned activity. Keep in mind that a couple thousand people attend this, so little impromptu get-togethers spring up all over the place. It's a very low pressure situation, so no matter what your comfort and experience level is, you'll be fine. D&R |

We were lucky that we had met a couple online that introdiced around the Red Rooster the first time. It is relaxed atmospehre, and they have a couples only area in case some singles get in your face. Does not happen often, but it can. We alos only swing together. I guess we can't see the purpose of going alone, for many reasons. If you have never done this before, please talk and decide on some guidelines between yourselves. Sick to them the first time, and then if you feel you want to modify them that is O.K. Write back if you want more information. |

We've never been to a club either. If you go before that, please post a review of it here. I guess we need to call them to set up an "interview". |
