I think I'll start paying more attention to the sports part of the news from now on. [Amazing that this made it through the production and edit depts - and actually ran on the evening 6 o'clock AND 10 o'clock programs!] ![]() P.S. My thanks to Ms. RMRx2 who shared this with me......... Last edited by wrnakedru : 11-29-2003 at 09:58 PM. |

And it even mentions something about the problems with cell phone cameras...apparently that isn't such a biggie as compared to what can be done. Not too long back, 20/20, 48-Hours - one of those types of shows had a segment on video cameras in use in cities and the number of times each day we are filmed...at traffic lights, subways...just going about our daily business. And now this! A Camera in Your Sunglasses - EBF ![]() |

We want to see *everything*, and when something good happens to us, we want to be able to see it again, and again, and again. But before everyone begins panicing over the swinger who's reluctant to relinquish his mobile phone or his sunglasses at his local on-premises club, consider this: how many of us have already been recorded in the throes of passion by playmates? For example: do you insist on sweeping a couple's bedroom for recording devices before you get down to the nitty gritty? How easy would it be for someone to conceal a modern digital camcorder amidst the clutter atop the average wardrobe? Most modern camcorders have the facility to be activated by motion. Put the thing in place, set it on standy and leave it alone. The moment someone enters the room and moves across the path of the lens . . . voilá! And let's face it, sexual play is generally not renowned for its stillness. The noise would be inaudible above a little soft music and the gasps of pleasure. The recording light can be negated with a small piece of insulation tape. Many people are open and above board about their wish to record their playtime. But what if you're not interested, and their desire to be able to relive your shared experience is strong? Paranoia run amok? Probably. After all, we know the people we swing with. We trust them. They're our friends. They respect us, respect our limits. They wouldn't violate our trust in that way. Would they? ![]()

There was an after hours on premise party that was popular for a while, and 2 women who attended once, told me that in the off hours, the place was used to film porn. So, there were cameras mounted on the walls. The guests were told by the host that the cameras weren't running...but one woman learned they were. The host then said the cameras were only running 'in house', so that guests could watch the others. Then the other woman was told the videos were shared only in Europe. I told one other couple what I'd been told, and they urged me to shut up about it, because if that information got 'out', there would be lots of trouble and I should not get myself involved. We had almost gone to one of these parties, before I learned all this. Close shave!!! |

In this case, the establishment showed their venue during off hours... no one was harmed, and the news crew and organization actually AGREED to promote this "taboo" lifestyle. I see it as something that was "once" taboo attempting to become mainstream. Although it's been a no-no for many years, it's obvious that more people are doing it now than EVER. So much for the swinging 60's... we're still swinging, we're just not as open with it because of our jobs... our kids... our neighborhoods... and terroristic acts by those that are uninformed and unenlighted. One day, when we're all dead, it will probably be normal practice, until then... let the cameras come, as long as no one gets hurt.

Recently the locker room in the gym I belong to posted a no cell phones sign at the entry door. At the time I thought it was odd, yes constantyly ringing cell phones are annoying but I hadn't put two and two together. Now it makes sense! |
