House Partys!!!!!

We are looking to throw our first house party . And were wondering what we could do and should not do to make it a success. Any Ideas?

1. Everyone brings their own towel.
2. BYOB and pot luck.
3. Explanation of what each room is for if needed. Private room if door closed. Door stays open to orgy room.
4. Condoms and condom trash bags placed around. Guests will throw used condoms under a bed!!
5. Porn if needed.
6. A start time and an arrive by time. Hate people showing up after the party has started.
7. A way for someone to come into the house and leave without the outside world peeking in by accident. Depends on your house and situation.
8. An end time. I've noticed some people won't go home.
9. A place to store personals. I prefer a place that is in public view by everyone all the time.
10. Smoking or non-smoking decision prior to arrival and everyone is aware of prior to coming.
11. Have fun!!

Plenty of paper plates, plastic cups and such...makes clean up so much easier.

We've never been to a huge house party, but a few smaller, intimate gatherings. When everyone would first show up, people were a little shy. The hostess was great at breaking the ice. She had music playing, the lighting turned low (but not so low you can't see) and a few different rooms for different events. One room had a porn tape playing, another room was for games, like strip poker or such. She had lube and extra condoms throughout the house. She also happened to have a jacuzzi tub that she kept filled with bubbles and candles open to any. She also had an interesting idea for her next gathering...she wants to hand out flowers or cards or something that guests could hand out to other guests that would let them know they find them interesting/attractive, etc and would be open to "chatting" later. our favorite house parties have themes. like "sheer delights" or the last one we visited was a hawian night. pretty cool
