We are looking for some help with planning our vacation this October. Having just returned from the South of France (Cap "d Agde ) the Naked City- we think it will be hard to beat !!!!

Looking for :-

Adults only- Nudist- swinging- warm weather (October)****

Can you guide us some advice..., maybe you have been to a place or know of a place.

Have you considered Hedonism in Jamaica? There are 2 resorts there that will encompass all of your criteria, Hedo 2 is in Negril, on the southwest side of the island and Hedo 3 is on the north-side of the island. They both are nude/clothing optional, all inclusive resorts. While not a "swingers resort" per se, you will find many people there that are in the lifestyle, and they are both adult only resorts.
There is a difference between the resorts, and you will find those that love either one or the other better. If you are into the water-sports, like scuba or snorkeling, then H2 is a better choice for you, as the water on the south-side is calmer and more scuba friendly. H2 is the older of the resorts, so H3 is a bit more updated and modern, but keep in mind that neither is a 5 star resort. They are located in a third world country, so the usual limitations apply.
At either resort, the service and energy levels are extraordinary, the food is OK (not top rated unless you choose to dine in the specialty restaurants, which are also included in the cost), and the alcohol flows for 19 hours a day.

We travel there once a year, the first week in November for 10 days, and now we have a group that travels there together, known as the Val's Pals. We coordinate different theme nights and activities during our stay and have a grand time.

Interestingly enough, one of our Hedo friends wrote the book "The Naked Truth about Hedonism 2" and she also wrote the book, "The Naked Truth about Cap d'Adge" - I hope you got a chance to read it You can take a look at her site here. Desire Resort (locations in Cabo san Lucas and just south of Cancun) is an all inclusive, clothing optional (clothing required for the restaurants, lobby and disco), couples only and is Lifestyle friendly. Management, IIRC, asks that sexual activity be restricted to the jacuzzi area (there are beds up there), the playroom behind the disco, or take it to your room.

It is quite small (110 couples max) compared to the two Hedos, and the crowd could make or break a visit. I personally enjoy it far more if there's a lifestyle group there.

While we enjoyed our three trips to Desire, if we do another similar all-inclusive vacation, we will be trying Hedo or Eden Bay in D.R.

I second the suggestion of the DennyP site and The Truth About Hedonism II book. There are trip reports for both Hedo and Desire from the last few years on the DennyP site.

I have the Cap d'Adge book and the author on our version is is Ross Velton, whom I assumed was a friend of Chris', perhaps?

Is she going to do one about Hedo III, or is it assumed the two are similar enough that another book isn't necessary?

thanks for the info on where to go- we had thought about Hedo' just was worried about the weather in October- looking on the net it says its the worst time to go?

Has anyone been their in October?
