first time to a club

My wife and I have discussed the possibility of going to a swingers club for the first time. What is the atmosphere there like for a couple looking for a single male for the woman? Is there any chance of finding a guy for her there?

If the clb allows singles to enter, I think the single guys will love the oppertunity to help you out.

Each and every club is different. Some allow single men, some don't. You would have to check out the web site of the club you want to go to as to see if they even allow singles and then read their site to get an idea what their place might be like.

If they allow singles, chances are good you will find one that your wife might be interested in.

You should talk about your own boundaries first. No matter what kind of a club or a party you'll end up at - you should always set your boundaries for that night.

If you're looking to play that night you should go to an "on-premise" club, if not - "off-premise". There are directories with reviews like http://mySwingClubs.com where peopel post reviews and rate the clubs that they've been too. There are a few article on their homepage about going to a swing club for the first time. Don't take those reviews TOO seriousely as some people blame clubs on their unability to have a good time.

A swingers club is exactly like a vanilla dance club, just with a sexual TWIST. There is just more of a blantantly sexual atmosphere. And more nudity. Just have fun like you normally would! And they pretty much are all byob, but most have the mixers there.

Single males: different story. Typically in this area they are not allowed on Sat. nights, thats "couples" night. Or they have to be escorted with a couple. The club we go to in San Antonio allows them, but they have to stay at the bar until they are invited down to the dance area by a couple.

And I agree with Bethncole.
Be sure to talk to each other extensively while you are still SOBER.
You mix inexperience, newness and alcohol and you could really have some issues. And talk while you are there. Jay and I are at the point where we party 95% there together, but we will also "float"...talking to friends, etc. But we have talked many, many times and have some experience under our belt. Take things slow slow slow...this is not a race or a competition.
