nwx club tells us that they only want ken and barbie

we are a latin couple new this we havent done any swing yet. but waiting for those couples to come. he is 26 i'm 32 been together for 9yrs married for 1yr. i been his only lady in his life and have send massages to single lady to play with us but no response yet. we were thinking of going to nwx club but they tells us that they only want ken and barbie there well i'm not barbie. if anybody have any advice or been there before to tell us if this is true please let us know.

We haven't attended an NWX party (we usually go to New Horizons) but know quite a few people who have and don't know who gave you that impression. There are definately non Ken and Barbie types who are NWX people.

I don't know who you've been talking to. It sure isn't the owners of NWX. They have never even implied something like that that I know of. It must have been someone who goes to NWX. NWX has some beautiful people and some average, everyday people..just like life in general. I bet if you go, you'll find what I say is true.

We've been many times (going next Sat. nite) and believe me we aren't Ken and Barbie...not even Ken and Barbie's parents. Hope to see you there. Ask for Marge & Larry and introduce yourself, OK?

This is the Club my wife and I are thinking about going to next weekend, plan on sending off a email to them tomorow actually. This will my first time going to a club and her first on-premise club. I'm very nervous but excited.... We still haven't made the final for sure decsion yet though but we planning on it.

Hi, this is Kristi (of Jim n Kristi). We own NWX. "We welcome all and age and hwp is not nearly as important as attitude." (that is a quote from our guest info which we send to inquiring couples.) It's on the website too.

Maybe SexIndulgence has confused our club with ANOTHER GROUP in the area. The OTHER GROUP states that they are all about "Bi & Beautiful" Women & Their Supportives' and state it their main header at their website.

We (NWX) have never said any thing like what was reported. We would never 'tell anyone' that they need to be ken and barbie. We do suggest that you dress attractively and bring a good attitude with you to the party....that is all. NWX is a typical cross section of fun loving adults between 30ish to 50+something - all have the their stories to tell, women have had kids, men are of all make and model, and none are perfect...Yes some are gorgeous, some are attractive, and some are not.

This community comes in all shapes and sizes, colors and creeds, and are none are perfect, nor do they stay 30 forever. NH, as mentioned, is definitely not a perfect palace of beauties either. We know hundreds of Lifestyle people who are members of both NWX and the NH community. They come to our club on Saturday nights.

Here's a note from a NH couple I receive on Friday-4/20: "We’d like to make reservations for next Saturday evening, the 28th. We’ve been to New Horizons in the past but have heard so many good things about NWX. We intended to visit early last year but just never seemed to make it. We still have the welcome package you sent then but please feel free to send us a new one. We will make there this time! Thanks for your hard work in providing a nice place for us adults to gather and play! "

The title of this thread is very negative publicity against their club. If it's not true and the rumor mill got the names of those clubs switched, it seems that the club owners have every right to defend themselves and set the record straight. They invited everyone to come visit. They were very friendly and classy about the whole thing, I thought. If I was in Washington, I'd visit based on their post.

Had NWX not been a registered club on SB and started a thread advertising their club you could have concern. But this isn't the case.

This thread originated in the Introductions forum, the forum I moderate, and the title was general. Since the OP had a concern about attending the NWX club I moved their thread to the "Swinging at Clubs" forum, and made the title specific by pulling out something from the OPs post. This way people could address their comment about NWX.

The NWX club has been registered on SB since 2004. Jim and Kristi can post and address people's comments and concerns on the board, just as you and I do.

Just a thought, I'm allowed to post them as well The problem with viral marketing is its designed to be indistinguishable from normal posting. We had that vitamin or whatever one not long ago that was undoubtedly viral marketing. So while this may be legit and I wouldn't be surprised if it was, the set response just seemed a bit to formulated for me. They have every right to defend their club of course.

Perhaps its just my criminal mind at work, if I had a swingers club, this is exactly how I'd get word of mouth out to make people feel comfortable.

Thanks to all that support our group and my post. I wrote it from heart. I was notified that I might want to respond to the post early in the day, but I waited. I almost didn't respond at all because it seemed to work out ok. I thought I'd add some true and postive notes to help those that had never been to our club understand how Jim and I feel about the Lifestyle and how we manage NWX.

For Chicup (who has no serviceable profile but many posts in his/her command) to start a rumor defaming my good intentions and sincerity is UNFAIR. Apparently Chicup understands viral marketing. I didn't even know what he meant until I took the time to think about it. I am not a secretive or viral type of person.

I will continue to rely on good will, sincerity, and hard work while representing our club and this lifestyle choice.

This is a great club and all are welcome,we went there a number of times and there were all different types of people there having a good time.We were on a bed having sex next to a big couple on one side and a smaller couple on the other side plus there is mix of ages and races[we are a interracial couple],we felt very welcomed from the minute we walked in.We will be right back there this summer since we live way out of towm I guess some people on these boards are just trouble makers
