I am so glad there are clubs and conventions out there that revolve around swinging. I have always been bi curious but never knew where to meet people like me. Is there such thing as a "swingers bar"? There are gay bars, sports bars , and so on but I have always wondered if there were bars out there where couples can go to meet single women.
I usually wear a playboy necklace as a sign that I am in search of a couple. Is that a good idea? Let me know what you all think! Fun to be here!

hello there and welcome to the board, I hope we can see many posts from you on the board, yes there are many swinger bars that couples use to find single girls, or also you can use the sites related to contact people.

I don't know about the playboy necklace, don't know if would get that effect on a couple, but still I think it's cool that you wear it and it's sexy!! so keep at it!

Glad to have you here. I don't know that the necklace will work, but it would certainly let others know you are open to sexual possibilities. I would think that this would attract mostly men, but maybe I'm wrong. Let us know how it goes.

Check out the Club Listings for some in your area. This will be a great way to meet like-minded couples.

to the board! I wonder if the NASCA apple would be a better necklace for you - the Playboy necklace will show that you are sexually open, but I would think more men would be attracted than couples. The NASCA apple would be a sign of a swinger - but only other swingers would know what it means. Worth the investment and membership, in my opinion. You can join (you get a pendant with your membership I think) online.

Glad to have you on the board! I hope you'll stick around and post often. It's always nice to have a new participant's insight!

I don't know how far you are from Chicago, but there are 12 swinger clubs in the area and every weekend you can choose from several swinger parties to attend. As far as the playboy neclace I would replace it with the official "swingers pin" that is very discrete and only those that are in the lifestyle would know it's signifigance. (can get thru NASCA) I am very active in the swinger lifestyle in Chicago and would be happy to direct you in the right direction.

Wow! Thank you all for your warm welcomes. I don't know why I didn't think of NASCA before. I am just finishing up a book called "Lifestyles" where is discusses the history and the organizations/events that go on today. Now more than ever do I feel I am ready to take the next step into this lifestyle. I am painfully shy but at the same time I am anxious to meet others like me. I live about 45 minutes from Chicago but would like to get to know more about these clubs before I go in.
As for my playboy necklace, suprisingly I have had little or no response. It was casually mentioned by a few guys at work. However I don't really go out much anyway so it's not like this necklace is getting that much exposure.
